Really enjoying this show. Good drama, good characters, interesting plots, monsters. I'm liking pretty much all aspects. Hope it gets renewed.
Friends is probably one of the best sit-coms of all time (proof of this might be the fact that my mom has watched the show about 4 or 5 times all the way through, sometimes back to back even). great characters, great comedy, and it never really got old even for going on for 10 seasons. One of the rare shows that went out on top and in their own time. Could've easily went for 1 or 2 more seasons but they were smart and didn't overstay their welcome.
One of my favorite sitcoms. I own every season on DVD and have watched the show at least 3 times. Great comedy and every season is really solid, even the final season, though it is not as good as the rest of the seasons. It really suffered without Eric and Kelso.
Good, dark, serious Science Fiction show. Like a cross between Star Trek: Voyager, Firefly, and Stargate: SGU.
Man this show is awesome. I love it, the best comic superhero show on TV right now. It's on the CW so it does have some of that melodrama, but it also has some of the best fight choreography I have seen on a TV show. Epic story lines and great twists and turns. And it also has gotten some good geek friendly actors to appear (Alex Kingston, John Barrowman, Summer Glau, Sean Maher, etc, etc.). Definitely should give this a watch.
Man this show was so good. Not great, but still really good. I really wish this would've gotten renewed. This sounds familiar if you've read my other reviews. But what do you expect coming from Fox, of course they are not going to renew a very good sci-fi show. This was like a cross between Lost and Jurassic Park. I think season 2 would've been great. 7.4/10
I am currently making my way through classic Doctor Who. I am a big new Who fan, especially 9 and 10. But being so obsessed with Doctor Who I thought it was only right as a fan to check out the classics. I can't give a review for all but I am halfway through 4 and I have loved each doctor so far. Every new one I am like, "now this is my favorite classic Doctor." Hopefully by the time I finish the classic years I can pick my favorite Doctor but now I am enjoying each new one.
When I first started this show I wasn't to fond of it. I did find the lead actor enjoyable along with most of the other characters. But during season 2 I think it started to find its stride. I found the second season a lot more enjoyable than the first and am actually looking forward to season 3 where as before I wasn't even sure I was going to check out season 2, I waited until the whole season had aired before watching. 7/10.
Update: Sad to see this show go. Season three was another solid season and I think they could have easily went 4 or 5 seasons with this show. But, I guess they went out on top, which is good. A lot of shows outlive themselves.
This show was okay. I expected more from a Battlestar Galactica prequel series. I believe if they would have made it to another season it would have been stronger, but we didn't get another season, so with what we got I have to go with rating it as average sci-fi show that had some good ideas going for it, if only it had more time to develop them. 6/10.
This is a pretty good light hearted action show. It doesn't take itself to seriously and I like that. Plus now, in season 5, two of its main stars are from lost and another is from Battlestar Galactica, so at least the cast is geek friendly. 7.5/10
