I love this show. It's gritty and moody without being overly emotional. Strong acting from the entire cast. I'm often caught off-guard by the largely unpredictable storyline.
This show is ok, meh. The supporting actors are pretty great but lead actors not so much
season 2, after trying to get through episode 8.... All the tough guys and everyone else too seriously needs a hug. It's pretty nauseating and ultra sappy I just can't watch any more of this crap
I enjoyed the talent to be sure, but maybe I'm just not paying enough attention to really understand what is happening from episode to episode. I am a Canadian who is used to American type stuff, so maybe I just need to watch more British stuff so that I can understand where they are coming from. I liked this. I watched both seasons back to back. I still feel unsure that I am understanding the story, but that could be because the accent caused me to miss a lot of the dialogue. I maybe should have had CC on

Almost 6 episodes in, I've decided to take it off my watch list. I cannot even finish the 6th episode. Tired of bad stories and too much killing.
While watching the premier, I was thinking how awful the characters were toward each other and wasn't sure I could get past how unrealistic that was. Then it all came together and I couldn't stop watching. The actors must have had a very enjoyable experience working together because the result is believable and compelling. Each character has their own charms & demons. The story turns out to be much deeper than i was expecting and I think it will stick with me for quite some time. 5 stars!
Good call on the cancel
The first episode of The Bondsman had me scratching my head. I couldn't believe Kevin Bacon would put out something so poor, but I hung in and am glad I did. It is different, for sure, but quite fun.
warning! can be very triggering if you ever suffered abuse as a child.
