I made it to episode 8 before I decided I just couldn't take anymore. Poor acting and writing. Good luck staying awake
I couldn't force myself to watch past episode 3. The story is very silly. Most of the characters are not believable at all, including Uma Thurman's, due in part to atrocious acting...including Uma. There was a quick cameo by Lili Taylor that pleasantly surprised me. She may be in following episodes but I'll never know. Marcus LaVoi who plays big Frank Yazzie should rethink his career choice. Every word he speaks in this show made me cringe, he was that awful.
I recommend you waste your time on something else
Seasons 1, 2, & 3 were entertaining.
I'm trying to get through episode 2 of season 4 but it's grating on my nerves. It feels more like a Bugs Bunny & Woody Allen cartoon. You can almost hear the director yelling "More energy! More energy!" at every actor in every scene. I don't understand the 'humour' in season 4 at all. I feel worn out irritated. Oh well
I thought it just had to get better so I kept watching, planning a binge while sick in bed but... I watched until half way through episode 5 then had to shut off the ridiculously inane garbage before my mind was completely mushed. It's really awful in every way. No redeeming qualities whatsoever
season 1 was good-ish with a fine story, acting and script but season 2 left me saying 'omg that's just so stupid' every 30 mins or so. The acting is horrific. The writing is worse. I am wondering if there even was a director at all. Surprisingly though, the story carries it, for a while. I got to halfway through S2 E8 then couldn't take it anymore.
This is a pretty good show. I binged season 1. The only issue I have is the negative self-talk is extreme but I do understand it is meant to make me cringe. I did indeed cringe many times. Thankfully she shows some improvement in her self-esteem by the end of the season. The other characters have grown on me too. The pace taken for character development is bang on. If a 2nd season happens I will definitely watch
There's intrigue and suspense from start to finish. Multiple red herrings. Keeps you hooked but there are many unrealistic plot conveniences. Most of the characters are annoying & beyond stupid. If logic is important to you, don't watch it... Still, it is compelling and an okay watch.
I've enjoyed this show very much. It's fun! Lots of interesting characters. Danger, action, humour, magic and cool twists. Looking forward to season 4
By episode 5 of season 2 it was feeling like just an excuse to indulge in making soft porn. Yawn. Not really my cuppa although season 1 has a moderately interesting plot that more or less kept me engaged. I wasn't expecting a great entertaining experience anyway, so no I am not disappointed. Just done.
I'm only 2 episodes in but can say the mystery is very slowly unraveling in a most compelling way. Of course the acting is on point with such an excellent cast..
