I liked the idea for this show. My expectations were too high though. Too bad they went formulaic. Might as well watch The Mentalist or some such. Same same. The lead actor , Tom Payne, over acts. Bellamy Young plays his mother. She has amazing breasts and the show never lets you forget it. Grrrr! LOL
This is an amazing show especially if you've been through anything remotely similar. It may make you more emotional than you'd like, but it helped me work through some issues that really needed to be worked through I sort of binged on it but watched it a bit at a time. I'm thankful
There's no intelligence to it. Basically watching bored actors having a silly romp with no real acting needed.
Fascinating story. I feel the ending was good. Sentencing fair.

This show is very spooky and very entertaining. Season 1 has some narration & season 2 does not. Both seasons are delightful.
So far, Season 1 Episode 4, This show seems like it goes to places not before explored in our imaginations. I think I like it but then again, I might be comparing it to Sirens which I just tried to watch and left a review on. I'll get back to you :)
I've read that some watchers have fallen hook, line & sinker for this show. Me? Not so much. I thought Season 1 of Sirens was only just bearable. The story idea was interesting enough that I found myself forgiving the poor casting and clumsy plots. Don't even get me started on the laughable continuity issues in pretty much every scene! LOL. That being said I was still lured in. Who can resist the bait of a murderous feral mermaid tale? and it was filmed here in Vancouver which makes it even more fun for me to tackle. I watched the entire first season, ending with high hopes for improvement if the show didn't get cancelled but a few minutes into season 2 episode 2 I decided to pull the plug on this one. It certainly took a serious nose dive. My advice is to catch (if you must) & release. I'm giving it 2 stars for the original main story IDEA, but otherwise, aside from beautiful locations and well-trained sea lions, this one is a flop.
This 3rd season is my favourite one. I didn't think any could surpass the first but I love this one. Excellent ending
Season 2 isn't quite as interesting as season 1. I've just finished watching S2 E 3
I usually am into psych-thrillers but this one seems pointless and a little too sick even for me. To be fair though, I gave up on it within the first 40 minutes
