Counterpart can be a bit slow at times but the dark story and briiliant acting are worth it. Reminds me slightly of Fringe. The locations are gorgeous.
This show is watchable but certainly not very compelling.
This show is crazy good and the choreography is amazing. Violence and bloodshed aside, it is very beautiful. Costumes and sets are exquisite!
I've enjoyed binge3 watching this show, season 1. I'm not usually into crime series but do very much enjoy psychological themes. I watched all ten episodes back-to-back and wish for more. Anna Torv wears quite a bit of make-up for her 1970's character portrayal but other than that, as usual, she is a joy to watch. Everyone else is good too as is the writing and sets etc. No complaints here. It probably won't win a Golden Globes award but is still well worth watching, in my opinion
This show is really poorly done. Garbage, if you ask me after I forced myself through 6 episodes. I'm done.
I thought the 1st episode in October was lacking in all aspects but the second episode for November was quite a bit better
The acting and continuity are laughable almost to the point of being insufferable but I watched it anyway LOL
This is a very well written and wonderfully acted crime mystery drama. I enjoyed the camera work too. The artistic colour grading and LUTs are interesting. At first distracting but you get used to it then like it. I've watched the first season but for the finale & I'm totally looking forward to knowing how that goes! Fingers crossed for a season 2. So far it's not bee3n cancelled or renewed
Although dark and depressing, this show is a good one. Amy Adams is the perfect actor for the lead. We all know how beautiful she is when she plays a sweet & funny character but in Sharp Objects you notice how a person's whole aura and looks can change when there is struggle, stress & mental anguish. She has done an amazing job of portraying such a vulnerable woman. Although Camille has her redeeming qualities, I'd imagine this is a tough character to shake off at the end of the day..
The acting and story are entertaining enough to watch the entire season, back to back episodes, all in one go.
