I like this show. I like Agent Coulson. I used to watch him get bullied by Old Christine but now he's... badass? I accept it without hesitation. It starts off like a procedural, meat and potatoes, monster of the week type jam but then it hits its stride halfway through the first season and picks up. The fact that it ties in with the Marvel movies is just icing because the show stands on its own. Watch it, ya nerd.
My roommates watch a bunch of total crap animated shows, and anime shows, I don't know if there's a difference, but whatever, they watch a bunch of crap that looks like this and when one of them wandered over to me and said he wanted me to watch this show I pretended to be interested. Three episodes later I was way more into it than he was. I was actually crying laughing. This is one of the best surprises I have ever had with a show. I straight up gay love it. And also straight love. I don't know, I just love it.
I don't know what it is about this show.. I don't especially like either of these turds and I don't think they are particularly good actors but somehow I keep coming back to watch them attempt humor and discuss their feelings. I like the stories, the look, the overall feel of the show. I like Cass and I like Crowley. If they weren't around I don't think I would be either. I am a Mishamigo. Okay I like the guys too. I've become attached to them. And they are way hot.
Ever try searching for suits the show by just typing suits in google? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I love this show though. I say that about a lot of shows, but this time, and only this time, I mean it. I shut down my life to watch this show. Do not interrupt me while I'm watching this show. I will cut you. I will take out a nail clipper and swing out the bit that's meant for nail filing and I will make stabbing motions at you. It's a show about lawyers and law and junk, so it helps if that's your cup of noodles.
This is one of the few shows that you have to pay very close attention to 100% of the time or you might miss something. You won't necessarily get lost and not know what's going on but you will miss out on something clever that shouldn't be missed, and there's nothing less clever than not getting something clever. That's almost embarrassing. The dialogue is quick and witty, which is typical Aaron Sorkin, and the acting is good..? I always feel strange commenting on acting. The only time I notice the acting is if it's bad, which it's not here. Everybody does a good job. Oh, except maybe for Olivia Munn, but she's super hot and sorta new to acting so I give her a pass. If you've read negative reviews about this show you should disregard them and listen to me. Give it a shot. Oh wait, I don't think I actually said something review-ish. I love this show. I would have its babies.
What can I say about Firefly. It's got skinny Castle in it. Cowboys in space. Nerds love it. And I guess I'm a nerd. They made a movie to wrap the show up, which was pretty good..... You get a real sense of togetherness watching Firefly. And I don't mean just the crew of Serenity being close, but you feel close to them. That sounds lame but it's true. Invested is the word. It's hard to get invested in shows these days, which is why this little production was so missed when it got canceled. I remember waiting for forever to watch it, so maybe I'm partially to blame. It was kind of a weird premise, and I'm not a huge sci-fi fan. But it's not really sci-fi. It's just good. At first I scoffed at the idea of Nathan Fillion being intimidating, because early on he says these one-liners that kinda just land like bombs. And everyone immediately shuts up. And I was like, "Who is this Canadian and why does everyone think he's tough?" Especially the Baldwin who's not one of the Baldwin family you're thinking of. He's got, like, 50 pounds on Castle, easy. But as you watch the show you start to respect Mal. And I would probably drop what I was doing if he came in with the 'hush up' talk, too. So, yeah, really good show. Perfect to knock out in a day. Or maybe space it out since there's so few of them. You could probably watch the first one, then watch the second one, then rewatch the first one and the second one and then the third one, then watch the first, second and third, then the fourth. And keep going like that. That will make it last a while. There's probably a math word to describe doing it like that, but I don't know math. Go Browncoats!
It's not a 'space western'. It's a show that takes place in space, with guys and girls that wear guns on their belts and talk like cowboys and sometimes herd cattle.
..?
Dudes being dudes. Vince has pretty eyes. Drama wants calf implants. Turtle smokes weed. E pines over girls. A celebrity makes an appearance. Somebody gets naked. Expensive cars. California. Entourage. That's more of a summary than a review. Honestly I don't understand the difference. I hear there's a movie?
You should know going in, and I think it's fair to say, that this show is not easy to get along with. It might stir up an emotion or two. If you are like me you will probably end up siding with the main character, although he gives you plenty of reasons not to. I dunno, I would check it out. It's very interesting. If you don't know anything about it, watch more than a few, they are a bit slow, like walking dead, but it builds up. Plus Justin Theroux married Jennifer Aniston. So, that's something to think about.
I watched South Park when it first started out, then I was kinda over it. Then I watched an episode about World of Warcraft, and I don't play World of Warcraft, but I am aware of it, then Cartman sprayed crap all over his mom (who was holding a crap catching bowl) and I laughed until it hurt. I then watched every episode I had missed during my period of thinking I was better than it. I'm not better than it. And I am now a loyal fan again. I will admit that the episodes are hit and miss, I don't want to make excuses like some fans do and say that it's due to their production schedule. Sometimes shows put out less-than-gold episodes, but the great ones make up for the lesser ones.. That makes it sound like I'm making excuses. What are you accusing me of? YOU are rambling. I love this show. I would gay marry it and adopt a baby with it. If you don't like South Park then you are the jerk.
I like Game of Thrones. You will, too. You might think you won't. You might think, "I won't like this stupid show. I'm not a big fan of castles and junk. I already saw Lord of the Rings and I'm sorta burned out on the whole thing." But you're wrong. Don't be a dummy. Watch it and then join in with every other person that talks about it like its their child. There's like, a whole bunch of characters though. So you should try to remember them.
