The starts off a little slow but develops into something deviously captivating. The story is sadistic; about a dysfunctional family trying to run away from its past and start a new life. The bond between mother and son is twisted and corrupt. I recommend this show.
Syfy gives us another B list script, some C list actors and D list animations and green screen special effects. What is Syfy working on that is so important that they give this project to their interns? I wouldn't waste my time with this one.
Forever is a fun new crime drama about a man who cannot die. He is forever bound to this world trying to fill his days with death; or more so trying to find how to die. He is a coroner with marvelous investigatory skills, solving cases by using wit and intelligence. There's also an unclear underlying plot that intrigues me... not yet sure where it is headed. I recommend this show to the crime drama fan.
The Affair is a riveting show about lust, passion, betrayal, family, murder and adultery (obviously). The way this show is filmed is revolutionary; by compiling perspectives from 2 people (the people having an affair together). These perspectives develop the same story but are different in one way or another. I like the bold approach of this show; it's something to behold. I recommend this show to the drama fan.
How to Get Away With Murder is a crime legal drama thriller like never before. The method the show is filmed and the way the episodes are delivered is quite brilliant. To start at the end and work your way backwards and also forward to meet at a critical point is genius. The actual legal cases are interesting and the drama sizzling. The actors are very well cast and their chemistry is electric... I recommend this show to anyone.
Peaky Blinders is a British crime period drama about the war between the law and rival gangs in Birmingham during the 1920's. This show portrays a beautiful message of family and honor in the most brutal way. This show has grit, honor, violence, lawfulness, integrity and loyalty. I recommend this show to the gangster crime period drama fanatic.
This is a rendition of Harry Houdini's past. The rise of an illusionist, magician and escape artist. This show portrays Houdini's escapes and illusions with amazing imagination and pzazz. "Unlike other people I don't escape life, I escape death" - Harry Houdini. If you like magic and documentaries, this show is a must watch.
The show is simple, hilarious and outrageous. It en-globes a bunch of weird and funny adventures following Rick (a grandfather) and Morty (his grandson). If you like animated comedies, watch this show.
This show has its moments, sometimes its a little slow but the second season is picking up. The storyline is interesting, the acting is decent and animations are nice. This science fiction mystery fantasy drama needs a little less drama/mystery and a little more thrill/grit for my taste. The series didn't hit the mark or an audience which led to it's demise...
A mockumentary about a group of friends in a trailer park. These guys are bums, liars, alcoholics... freaks even; that fumble their degenerate way through life. The storyline is original and hilarious. I recommend this show to any Canadian like myself and comedy addicts alike. Laugh on.
