well i will be the first to say that the story was too much for me maybe the similarities to similar show about gundam builders and this has made it hard to really like this but as a stand alone anime it actually really good. the characters i would not say is very complex as this is still a high school drama. i like that science and people being smart is focused instead of boys and girls and sex. check it out
while many people love this anime i found it boring and just stupid. i saw it on adult swim many years ago and found it a boring to say the least. to clarify i am not a person who likes really stupid anime. while there moments where things get serious and the story not bad it just did not resonate with me. the personal growth of characters were lost with me as i say the maturity level stay the same while the stakes got higher. for me what they drew and what came out their mouths coupled with art style for me did not fit for me. it was a miss for me sorry
while i never played the game. i will say that this anime is really good. that being said since i cant tell you if it is at all like the game. i like to point out if you take the name off. i think it a compelling story with thought out characters and a conclusion. now if your looking for anime and video combo that matches each other and builds on it try gungrave on the ps2 a classic along with the anime which is a stand alone a great anime but along side the game is incredible. once again after you try devil may cry and it does not match try this.
while this is a reboot of a beloved anime and manga this is a upgrade of not only the depth but style using modern technology and beautiful work. the story the same as before. Casshern does not remember who he is but knows right from wrong and now he must bring human and robot together to save what left of the world.
if you are looking for compelling sorry telling with lots of violence and sex then this is for you. while the violence take center stage there is semi nudity in the anime and you do get a conclusion that left up to the audience to decide. the anime is finally finish so after you watch this then head there to finish the story. there are also plenty of live action story's too some retelling of the anime and manga while some are original to the live action movie like the one on Netflix check it out
while i think if you haven't seen another school fighting anime with magic i think that this would be good but its just boring it like another world genre it just done too much and Funimation has a ton of titles like this and you may like this but it just got boring watching this. it like you can paint the plot it was just a waste don't even try
if nothing like a upbeat opening to make you forget the story is about the after life. while the story not scary or violent it does make you think. i would say your casual anime fan need not apply. the story is about understanding what humanity really means does life make you alive or is the fact that you die make you human.
maybe if i felt the story deserved that amount of violence and nudity and well gore i really like this anime but i don't think it was needed in every episode even the ending is hard to watch. this is a very hardcore anime and if berserk was too much for you. then you can't handle this. if you came for the nudity and sex then these scenes maybe not what you had in mind beware
sadly like many you watch from back in the day. they do not have sequels but that does not stop you from enjoying this anime. the story development is great the characters come to their conclusion correctly and while it does leave you wanting more it a good thing it still feels satisfying
this wonderful anime that is a reimagining of the classic Romeo and Juliet is based strictly with the fantasy. it has knight and destruction and a wonderful romance. if your familiar with the original story then you will like it, nut i will say there are major differences with it. this anime is pretty old actually so the animation for some with feel a little dated with all the cg that used now,but most will the visuals. the plots is great and you will enjoy it
