I know what you're thinking. An MTV show called "Teen Wolf". Sounded like supernatural teen drama to me, too.
It's kinda sad how nowadays, any and all supernatural shows are instantly compared to Twilight if they involve anything that even hints at love or teenagers. Teen Wolf will blow away all your false expectations - AFTER the very MTV-like pilot. In less than half a season, you'll have seen plenty of blood and fights and an actual pretty great plot. The acting is amazing, the story is interesting, and the MTV elements (like cute romantic scenes - unfortunately often interrupted by some kind of creature out to kill) keep our young hearts happy in a way that does not degrade the show. There's kick ass women, too, and every episode more and more supernaturals are revealed, with a hashtag appearing in the bottom right corner at the most memorable moments. The big advantage of it being an MTV show, is that they do all they can to keep you involved, even when the show isn't on air. Get ready for tons of interviews, BTS material and inside jokes.
So trust me, Teen Wolf is not what you expect it to be. For this show, ignore everything you know about it and just start watching and keep watching. You'll most probably run into a pleasant surprise and love it.
