What it says on the tin. If you're a mate, acquaintance or fellow internet friend, I surely have insisted you watch one of these shows at some point.

I quit you

There are some shows that I have just completely lost interest in, either their writing turned sour or they changed too much from their happier beginings - I've definitely given up watching this bunch of shows.

I absolutely love (and have watched) almost all of the shows in your list. Life on Mars was so good, Glenister in his silly Audi careering around corners and John Simm just trying to understand what was going on. IMO, it should be mandatory for these two actors to be starring together in at least one good drama or comedy per year. They were both fabulous in State of Play, one of my all time favorite shows. Wasn't there supposed to be a sequel? #mustfindout

Stranger Things, love, love, love. White Collar, be still my heart at Matt Bomer and Tim Dekay's constant bickering.I was late to the party for this show and watched the first four seasons in about a month! Then, when the last season arrived, waiting a week for each episode was torture!

Great list, thanks so much! : )

Thanks! I totally agree with you there, Glenister and Simm need to be starring in more dramas together, they are such a brilliant and complimentary pairing! Ooh I didn't know they starred in the tv series of state of play, I shall add that to my 'to watch' list tyvm!

So pleased you are a fan of White Collar too! Matt Bomer's hat twirling and con skills combined with his and Tim Dekay's constant bickering makes for such perfect tv. I tend to do a rewatch of the entire show each summer, it just never gets old! Recommending the show to my friends has been something people actually know me for...

You're very welcome! James McAvoy *swoon*, Glenister, Simm, David Morrrissey, Bill Nighy, Kelly MacDonald, Polly Walker and more are in State of Play. It's one of the best dramas the BBC have made in such a long time. It is from 2003 but like yourself, I love to rewatch my favorite shows, so I watch it at least once per year. There's such intrigue and suspense, you truly don't know what's going on.

Oh, Matt Bomer, only his character could walk into a thrift shop, see those fabulous rat pack clothes and hats being handed in by the incredible Diahann Carroll (I loved when they would duet) then end up staying in her too-beautiful-to-exist rooftop apartment. Tim Dekay's face when Matt showed him the place, that was the moment I knew I'd love the show forever. Very first episode. The hat twirling and effortless charm, Tim DeKay being constantly infuriated that Matt kinda knows a huge amount about everything just makes for perfect tv. Love, love, love. Plus, Tiffani Thiessen and Mozzie! Oh, I really need a rewatch, it's a great show that also has a lot of heart. Gotta love that. : )

Hope you're enjoying the weekend! : )
