I rarely meet a show I don't track... :D I have lists galore as I love all genres of tv, but, hey, it means I never run out of shows! I've found even more shows to watch through some amazing sidereelers' lists! Starting conversations with lists is one of my favorite things about sidereel. I love how we can all love or hate a show yet still have a friendly chat. You'll find me dashing around the site, leaving friendly comments on reviews, shows, lists and articles. <3
No spoilers: Love this! Matthew Macfadyen and Timothy Spall are fantastic as is the plot. Hoping for lots of thrills from this one!
ETA: After watching all of the eisodes, am not quite as thrilled by it, but it's still an interesting watch. The acting was terrific. Best for a binge watch.
One of the best programs ever! If you liked the West Wing, you'll love The Newsroom. It's superb, the writing, the cast, production values, everything and everyone isat the top of their game. It's also so informative in an entertaining way. Just watch for Jeff Daniels incredible acting but the entire cast is pitch perfect. Wow!
Love this show, I'm at episode five and hooked. Watching one or two eps per night. I haven't seen horror this good in years, it's exceptionally good psychological horror, spooky horror and really scary horror all rolled into one, combined with heart, through family relationships we can all relate to, plus lots of popcorn jumps. Shirley Jackson's novel was one I read as a kid, so to watch it done so well = wow!
Outstanding! I loved the books and the movie, so was eagerly waiting this show's arrival. Wow, it just hits the ground running and never lets up. William Hurt is perfectly cast and his acting is breathtaking. The casting overall is excellent, which is so important in a show where you really invest so much in the main team. Writing is excellent, not a word out of place or extraneous. All this boils down to me having a new favourite show and so happy a great 70s flick has been given a new life in this new world we live in. Some nice easter eggs really make this something special.
Absolutely outstanding. The Pilot epsode alone is exceptional with the 'Tin Star' world feeling real, by that I mean messy, complicated and dangerous. It has some shocking moments - this is definitely one of my picks of the year. Tim Roth, as always, is amazing - I don't want to write any spoilers but I really think this is one to watch.
Can't believe I never wrote a review for this, it's one of my top three favorite shows. Love, Olivia (love to hate FauxLivia) Walter and of course, Peter ♥ Not forgetting the wonderful Astrid, how she put up with all the variations of her names that Walter came up with throughout the years. LOVE!!!!
Kyle Chandler.Enough said. ; ) I loved this show so much!
Loved, loved, loved this show. Shouldn't have been canceled. :/
My least favorite Jane Austen novel (don't hate me!) but I still can't stop watching the adaptations and movies! This one is pretty good, although fairly old.
I enjoyed this so much, even though I'm not that much of a fan of people constantly trying to come up with a new 'Jane' story. That said, the late P.D. James wrote another exceptional story in a career chock full of them. It's wonderful, the cast, the house, the intrigue, a really good show, imo. : )
