I rarely meet a show I don't track... :D I have lists galore as I love all genres of tv, but, hey, it means I never run out of shows! I've found even more shows to watch through some amazing sidereelers' lists! Starting conversations with lists is one of my favorite things about sidereel. I love how we can all love or hate a show yet still have a friendly chat. You'll find me dashing around the site, leaving friendly comments on reviews, shows, lists and articles. <3

Robert Carlyle before he was Rumplestilskin! Gorgeous scenery, easy going story lines that appealed to the more elderly amongst us and everything would always work out in the end. Plus, Jock the dog. I saw a few episodes, even though he was a copper in a small coastal village, I remember him smoking cannabis. I guess things are more relaxed in small towns....especially if you are the only police officer! lolol Lovely, easy show.

Hilarious, irreverent, anti establishment, they did not give one damn who they offended, whether it be the prime minister, any cabinet minister or billionaires (they had Robert Maxwell's face on a dart board for such a long time!). You never knew what to expect as they filmed right up till midnight on a Thursday night and then aired on Friday. Cynical foreign reporters, underpaid researchers, up themselves presenters, everyone got a roasting at some point during the show. I never did find out who Sally was supposedly based on in real life, now that would have been fun to know! One of my all time favourite shows.

Between the Lines

Nicknamed by the tabloids 'Between the Loins' due to the amount of sex scenes this was, at heart, a show about the police who investigate the police. Neil Pearson, the funniest, smartest and most charismatic actor at that time had me counting the minutes till each new episode. It was also one of the first shows to have an 'out' lesbian police officer, something that no other show would attempt at that time. It was set just after the West Midlands outrages and so referenced that debacle often and was hard hitting at the problems of racism, sexism and homophobia facing the police at that time. It needed, at the end, a couple more episodes to tidy up loose ends but, unfortunately wasn't given that time. Still an excellent show from the 90s.

As a kid I loved this show, waited for each new episode, it was so funny. Giant kittens, complete insanity, Bill, Graeme and Tim were fabulously funny to this kid. Brilliant show. :)

I really enjoyed this, Andrew Lincoln and Richard Armitage were fantastic in their roles in the first season, what a great season finale. Lost track of the show after it went on hiatus and have now rediscovered it four seasons later. With Sully Stapleton involved, it's time for a binge watch.

Perfection! They get everything right. Shetland actors (okay, Dougie's from Glasgow) the knitting is by Shetland knitters, the cinematography, whether on the islands or in cities is glorious! Plus, great stories, some really great actors have been brought in and there are wonderful characters for them to play. The hour flies by and there's only a handful of shows that enchant me so much.

Buffy has one of the best episodes I have ever seen on tv, in any show, ever! Titled 'Hush' it was exceptional, as was the show! Truly great tv.
