Mad Men's main appeal is their ability to transport you to a different area. A series very critical about feminism and racism, the audience is able to connect with struggling and ambitious characters living in the 60's. It is not an easy series. It has random time jumps and the characters make weird and unexplainable decisions, but I guess that is part of its charms.
Interesting since the beginning, this series is very well written. The first 3 seasons have an excellent development of characters and the story is convincing and catching, the last 3 are fun to watch, but quality is not maintained.
Funny and sincere, this series is a bizarre love story. It is not for everyone and the first few episodes are hard to swallow.
If you're heartbroken and have given up on love, watch this. It's original and realistic, with excellent comic relives.
Great series. It was a shame they decided to cancel it.
Perfect script and details regarding the time it is located at.
Actors and direction is great, the thought of locating women as 1. hard working and 2. "while I get married" is an incredible analogy of the decisions and problems women had to overcome in the 90's.
Love it.
