Sam & Cat

Ummmm... I know that it's Nickelodeon's attempt to continue the favourite major characters from two highly successful TV series (iCarly and Victorious) but I'm not convinced. It's not bad, but Sam was always my least favourite character in iCarly, and whilst I realise the series is fiction (i.e. Bots, the restaurant, droid delivery, dumber than short planks friends) even basics like the character traits (e.g. Sam's incredi-strength, Kat's amazing guitar skill) seem unlikely. I love Kat but the series just... wasn't quite right. And the ending was AWFUL!

I know it's just a rubbish show for pre-to-early-teens but Victorious kinda ROCKS! It's a great mix of "Glee", "Smash", "Harry Potter" and lots more. I love Tori, was a little disappointed she never got together with Beck but also liked that we finally got through an entire series without anyone dating their best friends ex's... And that a couple survived an entire series! Mostly though, I just LOVED Mr Sikowitz!!!!!!!!!

I'm unsure. Even though there are clear differences, the story reminds me of Under the Dome. Unfortunately, a lot of the characters (being under 21) are incredibly irritating. The groups are dumb. And the problems they're facing are pretty samey to UTD, except the over arching storyline about the virus. Could improve, but I think after just a couple of episodes, it's gonna get lost!

I'm really falling for this show. OK - I get that it's a bit unlikely. Girl is taken away from her kidnapper/mother of 13 years and placed into the care of her birth parents who she doesn't remember, without any kind of therapy or supervision from social services? Really? Then again, who better to place her with? She can't stay with the kidnapper... And the only alternatives to her birth parents are group homes, foster parents, and friends. At least this way is best for her, she gets the best care! The plot is great fun, and I enjoy the writing and acting. Desperate for the next episode!

Not bad. Not great. But not bad. The actors are fine. Some were good. Most were fine. The plot was absolutely the best part. Nice - similar enough to the basic story of Peter Pan but also unique. And I loved the locations!

I honestly LOVE this series. It's not spectacularly different from anything else on the market but it's so heartfelt and meaningful. I admit to fast forwarding through a lot of the endless chatting at the end, but the reactions of the families and the changes the design team make are incredible. I love when they make homes fully accessible, and when they give college educations to 11 children, and money to charities. I also loved the season with the celebrities, even if I didn't recognise anyone. This is so much better than the UK edition!

I know it's pretty naf - but it's such FUN! I preferred the original woman (Ruth something-or-other) but Alex Polizzi is great. She tends to refurbish more, like the exterior, restaurant/lounge and a room. Ruth what's-her-name could only do one room. But I do miss the financial advisors she'd bring in, and the better advice. Alex loves herself a bit too much, and will not sleep in a LOT of places!

Urgh! I watched after I saw the new film. Pretty standard. I just don't LIKE anything about it. Nothing wrong, just nothing RIGHT!
