Kiefer Sutherland Would Be "Thrilled" to Make 24 Film

The days may get longer for Kiefer Sutherland. The Emmy winner revealed to Extra that he's definitely open to the idea of a film adaptation of his Fox hit 24. "It's certainly on the table," Sutherland said. "We would certainly be thrilled to make it, but we're going to wait until the series is finished." There has long been talk of a big-screen 24, first starting in 2006. The film was meant to be shot during the Season 6 and 7 hiatus, but plans were put on the backburner to concentrate on the series. Exclusive: 24 Gets Up to Speed with Rory Cochrane

Rory Cochrane, whose dearly departed CSI: Miami character managed to resurface last season (as an ethereal vision of Delko's), has joined the ensemble of Fox's 24 for this coming season, sources tell me exclusively. Cochrane will be filling the recurring role of Greg Seaton, a crony of Jon Voight's big very baddie. Jack Bauer et al isn't the only good company Cochrane is keeping these days. He recently wrapped Michael Mann's Public Enemies, playing G-man Carter Baum alongside Christian Bale's Melvin Purvis, as they together pursue Johnny Depp's John Dillinger. Kiefer Sutherland thanks fans at Comic Con!

Kiefer Sutherland was one of the panelists at Comic-Con 2008. At the end of the 24 panel session, the ever so gracious Kiefer made a point to give a huge heartfelt thank you to all the fans, then standing up and giving the crowd a standing ovation, followed by him accepting to sign many many autographs. Watch the video here , to see his sweet thank you speech. Also, you can refer here for the article which includes photos. Here's a quote from the article: Tony Almeda Is Back! So what did Kiefer think when executive producer Howard Gordon told Kiefer they were considering bringing Carlos (Tony Almeda) back? "Obviously the idea for this story is that the real-time aspect was to be the real star of the show. So when [executive producer] Howard Gordon asked what I thought of bringing Carlos back, I said, 'Um, how?' And the way he came back was so extraordinary and unexpected and very 24 and so clever. So we went for it." I'm excited as to how they are going to bring Tony Almeda back! Looking forward to Season 7 even more than ever.

Korbi from Zap2it is reporting that Season 7 of 24 will take place a full 4 years after the conclusion of Season 6. It had originally been reported that Season 7 would take place about one year after the end of Season 6, so that's a little bit of a change. What year would that make things? Source: zap2it

24 Season Two: The Musical

Missing your 24 ? If you recall, it won't be returning until 2009. Luckily, Jon and Al Kaplan have taken what is arguably the worst season of 24 - Season 2 that is - and turned it into something entirely new and awesome...a musical! The two also apparently created "Silence! Silence of the Lambs: The Musical". Some song selections (and all of the songs can be listened to here ) include "Dammit! (The Longest Day of My Life)", "I Will Torture You" and "Three Countries in the Middle East". Check them out...they're pretty funny!
