666 Park Avenue Premiere Clips

Sexy, scary, and insanely addictive, 666 Park Avenue is the perfect hour of television to fill the gap left by Desperate Housewives . Based on the book series by Gabrielle Price, 666 Park Avenue is a mystery infused take on the tried and true 'Good vs Evil' trope, managing to elevate its interpretation to decadently mature levels.  It would be hard to imagine 666 making it to television without the success of American Horror Story to illustrate how big the horror niche had become amongst TV viewers, but Park Avenue gives a take that is far more mainstream, and a bit more 'adult' in its narrative, both in terms of maturity and ... you know. Exclusive First Look: 666 Park Avenue Gets Sexy, But There’s a Devilish Twist

"Are we going to be OK here?" Gavin ( Terry O'Quinn ) and Olivia Doran ( Vanessa Williams ), the owners of the chic Upper East Side apartment building, hire the innocent Midwestern couple to be the building's resident managers.  Unbeknownst to them, the residents have all made deals with the devil to have their desires fulfilled. Willa Paskin spoke to O'Quinn for New York Magazine's Fall Preview issue . Herewith, a longer take on what he thinks of his new role as (maybe?) the Devil; his old role as Lost 's John Locke; and, oh, that little show's totally normal series finale.   Read More... //www.vulture.com/2012/08/terry-oquinn-666-park-avenue-interview.html

666 Park Avenue Creators Discuss Their Approach to Horror on TV

ABC’s new fall series  666 Park Avenue  follows what happens when a young couple, Jane (Rachael Taylor) and Henry (Dave Annable) are given a luxurious new home in Manhattan, becoming landlords of a swank Park Avenue building, the Drake. But quickly, it’s clear something very nefarious (and otherworldly) is going on with the building’s owner, Gavin (Terry O’Quinn) and his wife, Olivia (Vanessa Williams). Speaking about the series at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, executive producer David Wilcox noted, "I’ve been a horror fan for a long time. It's the kind of genre that really has a direct connection to the audience and that has great appeal to me. I thought there was a show in the horror genre that could work on television for a long time." After reading the books 666 Park Avenue are based on, he noted, "I thought this could have the DNA that could really work on network television – a scary, yet character driven supernatural soap." '666 Park Avenue': Vanessa Williams and Terry O'Quinn base devious characters on the Madoffs

In the upcoming ABC drama "666 Park Avenue," Terry O'Quinn and Vanessa Williams play Gavin and Olivia, the nefarious owners of a seemingly haunted upper east side apartment building. In the pilot episode, it becomes increasingly clear that the couple have the worst of intentions when it comes to their tenants, who experience a bevy of horrors while residing in their dream apartments.Williams says that she looks at the moneyed, troublesome couple as a supernatural version of Bernie and Ruth Madoff. "It's a world that I wanted to explore. It's the Upper East Side. It's luxurious. It's a couple that are very powerful," she says. "I thought about the Madoffs immediately because they were extremely wealthy. They had incredible land holdings all over that people knew about and knew that they had a great amount of wealth. And then we all saw the dark side and what happened and how they created their empire."They're not... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/666-park-avenue-vanessa-williams-and-terry-oquinn-base-devious-characters-on-the-madoffs.html
