Crunchyroll Adds ‘Akame ga Kill!’ For Summer 2014 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll has formally announced another of their summer 2014 anime simulcasts with the pickup of  Akame ga Kill! . The series is scheduled to be simulcast starting on Sunday, July 6th, at 12;00pm ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The series comes from the manga of the same name by Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro. It’s directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Galaxy Angel Z, Steins;Gate). Taku Iwasaki ( Black Butler, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is composing the music. ‘Akame ga KILL!’ Anime Debuts Extended Promo

Set for two seasons, the summer  Akame ga KILL!  has just debuted through Toho a new 90 second promotional video for the series that definitely ramps up the appeal of it all. Set to debut on July 6th, 2014, the series is adapting the manga of the same name by Tetsuya Takahiro that began in 2010 and has nine volumes to its name so far. The anime has Tomoki Kobayashi set as directing working off of scripts by Makoto Ueze while Kazuhisa Nakamura is handling the character designs. The show is being animated by White Fox. First Images From ‘Akame ga KILL!’ First Anime Episode

Set to premiere on July 6th, 2014,  Animate.tv  has revealed a number of new images from the summer 2014 anime series  Akame ga KILL! . The show recently revealed that it was going to get two seasons and that definitely raised the interest level for a lot of people, though it’s unknown when the second season will premiere just yet. The series is adapting the manga of the same name by Tetsuya Takahiro that began in 2010 and has nine volumes to its name so far. ‘Akame ga KILL!’ Anime Debuts New Preview

With more information out this week regarding the summer anime series  Akame ga KILL! , TOHO has now dropped us a new promotional video for the series. While it’s free of dialogue, it has the right flow and feel to it with the instrumental music that shows off the cast and ties the voice actors it. Set to debut in July, the series is adapting the manga of the same name by Tetsuya Takahiro that began in 2010 and has nine volumes to its name so far. Summer anime series  Akame ga KILL!  is getting more information out there ahead of its July 2014 debut as more of the cast has been revealed and the staff is all set as well. The series is adapting the manga of the same name by Tetsuya Takahiro that began in 2010 and has nine volumes to its name so far. ‘Akame ga KILL!’ Anime Adaptation Casts Lead Actress

We learned back in January that the manga series  Akame ga KILL!  was getting the nod to leap into anime form but little else was confirmed with it beyond that. The latest bit of news to arrive for the show is that the lead character of Akame will be played by Sora Amamiya, who is currently being seen in the very different show  One Week Friends  as Kaori.  Based on the manga by Takahiro with artwork by Testuya Tashiro that began in 2010 and it’s released nine volumes so far. First ‘Akame ga KILL!’ Anime Teaser Spot Debuts

We got the announcement in January that another manga series is getting the anime adaptation green light with  Akame ga KILL! . Now TOHO has stepped up to provide a brief teaser for the series, which gives us the briefest of tastes of the animation/design itself but works well to set the tone. Based on the manga by Takahiro with artwork by Testuya Tashiro that began in 2010, TOHO registered a domain name for it recently and was then confirmed by the February issue of Gangan Joker. The property is getting a big push these days as there are a couple of game projects that are in the works along with a prequel series that kicked off recently. The new series is based on the manga by Takahiro with artwork by Testuya Tashiro that began in 2010.  TOHO registered a domain name for it recently and it’s been confirmed by the newest issue of Gangan Joker that’s out today in Japan with a big spread on it. ‘Akama ga Kill!’ Anime Gets New Second Half Trailer

While TOHO released a 15 second TV spot to help remind folks that the second half of  Akame ga KILL!  is rolling right along, they’re also opted to do something a little bit bigger with a nearly two minute promotional video for it.
