Courthouse drama that follows the chaotic, hopeful and sometimes absurd lives of its judges, prosecutors and public defenders, as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process. Among them is newly appointed Judge Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick), a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney who doesn’t intend to sit back on the bench in her new role, but instead leans in, immediately pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be.
I like the show always been a fan of Simone Missick I mean at it's core its kind of still a lawyer show but I like the fact that they put emphasis on the judges as well, suits is off For The People got cancelled this show might be a little repetitive but I like it so hopefully it can get a nice run
So far it’s just ok, as a brand new judge is getting the hang of her position and all that comes with it. She doesn’t seem to get angered by much. I do appreciate that they decided to make her best friend a guy rather than another female. Hopefully, the season will get better, as we learn about her and her career.
