Fans of the Fox drama “Almost Human” — which was canceled Tuesday night after a single season — are mobilizing on the internet to vent their rage and attempt to revive the series. Angry fans of creator J.H. ‘Almost Human’ Cancelled by Fox

The robot/human bromance of  Almost Human  is coming to an early end. According to  Deadline , Fox has decided not to pick up the J.J. Abrams produced series for a second season.  Almost Human  looked likely for renewal given its decent ratings and small, but loyal fanbase. Unfortunately, its fate was sealed once Fox’s drama pilots for the 2014-2015 season came rolling in. TV ratings: 'The Voice' stays strong Monday, 'How I Met Your Mother' dips

Fast National ratings for Monday, March 3, 2014"The Voice" put up strong ratings Monday night, retaining nearly all of its premiere audience from a week ago and leading NBC to a sweep of the night. "The Blacklist" declined some but still led its hour by a wide margin.Elsewhere Monday, the season finale of "Almost Human" on FOX was steady with last week. "How I Met Your Mother" fell off a bit for CBS, but the rest of the network's comedies ticked up, as did The CW's "Star-Crossed." The "Women Tell All" edition of "The Bachelor" was down a bit from last week for ABC.NBC drew 14.1 million viewers and an 8.4 rating/13 share in households for the night, leading its closest competitor by more than 6 million viewers. 'Almost Human' Season 1 finale: Life goes on for Kennex and Dorian; will it for the show?

Week to week, you could almost see the writers of "Almost Human" itching to play around in their near-future world. Like a lot of science fiction, there were ideas about how the world will look a little while from now practically bursting out of the sides of the screen.And like a lot of good science fiction, those ideas served the more grounded stories the show was telling and the characters it was using to tell them, rather than letting them overrun everything else. The show got more and more confident in its characters over the run of Season 1, culminating in Monday's (March 3) season finale focusing heavily on John Kennex's past and his working relationship/bromance with Dorian. Let's hope it's not too confident. The series ended its first season with an upbeat, life-goes-on sort of finale -- the final scene was of Kennex and Dorian bonding at his favorite noodle shop when a new... //
