I have to confess that for me Hugh Hefner was just a sex-crazed guy and yes, I had heard the articles in Playboy were more important than the naked pictures but had never learnt about all the history behind the Playboy brand. This is a super interesting documentary about, obviously sex, but also about cultural relationships, the evolution of the media and the evolution of Hugh Hefner himself. The documentary is voiced over (by an actor) in the first person by Hefner and includes many interviews by Hefner, his children, his ex-wives and many friends and celebrities.
I loved a remembrance of yesteryear. I recall the events and happenings that occurred throughout those years. Whether history likes it or not, Hef had an immense impact on society, so resisted by the staunch self-righteous perspectives. He lead and encouraged the changes in attitudes through the years. He was a man of change, which always occurs and most should learn from. Roll with it people.
