America’s Got Talent Recap 7/10/18: Season 13 Episode 6 “Auditions 6”

It was night of auditions on tonight’s all new episode of "America’s Got Talent". The first act happened to be a three-man group called Hamster Wheel. These guys came various backgrounds and so they came together to form a group dedicated to applied sciences. It seems they built a mission that was supposed to carry out certain functions until it ended with the judges giving them a golden buzzer. The group had wanted to give the actual judges that idea and it had worked on some. Simon had been on the edge of his seat and Howie had found it entertaining because he said it felt like he had been at a convention however Heidi hadn’t cared for the act and so the decision fell on Mel B. America’s Got Talent Recap 6/19/18: Season 13 Episode 4 “Auditions 4”

The contestants have to be the total package to get ahead on tonight’s all-new episode of "America’s Got Talent". The auditions continued on for another night, but this time they began with the Voices of Hope Children’s Choir. The choir was led by the musical director Ms. Sarah and they originally hailed from Orange County, CA. Another thing that should be said was that the group was quite large. There were about seventy kids and somehow their director managed to wrangle them all for an incredible performance of "This Is Me". The judges were all moved by this performance because who doesn’t love to hear talented children singing and so the only problem the judges faced was whether or not this performance would have been enough if the choir hadn’t been children. Both Mel B and Simon wanted the choir to up their game going forward and Heidi was a "yes" right off. The lone wolf with this act was Howie. READ MORE...

America’s Got Talent Recap 6/12/18: Season 13 Episode 3 “Auditions 3”

The first act tonight is five years old Sophie Fatu who loves making desserts, clothing, and princesses. Sophie doesn’t want to win money, she just wants to sing for everyone and make them happy. Sophie tells Simon that he is her favorite judge and she sings Frank Sinatra’s "My Way." A standing ovation from the audience and all four judges. Four yes votes from the judges, Sophie is going to the next round. The next act are a couple who broke up a year ago but decided to continue their act on the AGT stage. Sixto and Lucia are quick outfit changers. The duo changed outfits so fast and to "Lets Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez. Simon said this was once of the best acts that he has seen, a great act and just perfect. Howie agrees, he has never seen such quick movement. Mel B says it is entertaining and slick. Heidi said it was so great, she loved it. All four judges give them yes votes ad the audience gives them a standing ovation. READ MORE...

America’s Got Talent is back for season 13. Host Tyra Banks is back for her second season. All four judges are Mel B., Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. The first act is a mother and daughter duo, Svetlana and Marina, who train cats. The cats attempt tricks that we usually see dogs do. They jumped through hoops, rolled on cylinders, hopped one over the other and balanced on beams. The judges give the cats and their trainers a resounding yes. READ MORE...

America’s Got Talent Premiere Recap 5/29/18: Season 13 Episode 1 “Auditions 1”

America’s Got Talent is back for season 13. Host Tyra Banks is back for her second season. All four judges are Mel B., Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. The first act is a mother and daughter duo, Svetlana and Marina, who train cats. The cats attempt tricks that we usually see dogs do. They jumped through hoops, rolled on cylinders, hopped one over the other and balanced on beams. The judges give the cats and their trainers a resounding yes. The next act is a magician named Shin. He asks Tyra pick a card from a deck, she picks the queen of spades, she writes her name on the card. He puts the card into the deck and glides his palm over it and raises it from the middle to the top and then we see the card imprinted on his chest. The tricks go on and on with the queen of spades. Howie says that by leaps and bounds it was the best slight of hand magic that he has ever seen. Mel B. thought it was unbelievable. Simon said he had it with card magic, but not now, this was unbelievable. Shin gets four big yes votes. READ MORE...

America’s Got Talent: Magician Shocks Crowd. Tyra Presses Golden Buzzer.

Talent season is upon us once again as summer begins. People from all over the world take to the biggest stage, hoping their act will launch them into stardom. In this thirteenth season premiere of America’s Got Talent, the search for a new million-dollar act is underway. Best Acts: Shin Lim – The Boston magician wowed the judges and the crowd with his sleight of hand. The way that he performed his card tricks baffles the mind (and the host). I still don’t know how Shin did it. If he manages to make it to the end, perhaps he can invite past magicians who have won the competition to collaborate on something. We Three – This family music group enchanted everyone with an original song that they wrote for their late mother who passed due to cancer. Simon said that the entire performance sounded like a record while Mel B and Tyra were moved to tears. The former Spice Girl also lost a parent to cancer and the song brought back memories.
