[Videos] 'America's Got Talent' Premiere Auditions: The One Act to Watch

America's Got Talent Season 8 premiered Tuesday night to 10.9 million viewers, down a smidge from last season's opener but also way up from the Season 7 finale. It was still the top show of the night, thanks in no small part to the combination of Howard Stern and some smoking new judges. Nothing against Miss Sharon Osbourne, but even at age 40, Heidi Klum may be the perfect woman. Even if she spells "booty" with an i and says "I had an itch" when she means "I was itching to dance." And I'll take Mel B.'s British accent any day of the week. //www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-got-talent/americas-got-talent-premiere-a-50292.aspx

'America's Got Talent' Season 8 premiere: Anna Christine and Tone the Chiefrocca wow the judges

"America's Got Talent" returned to NBC Tuesday night (June 4) with auditions in San Antonio, New York City and Los Angeles. There were several routines sent on to Las Vegas, but two stood out. In NYC, 10-year-old Anna Christine (video above) impressed the judges with her singing and piano playing talent on "House of the Rising Sun." Howard called her a superstar and Mel B. praised her depth, while Howie and Heidi were just blown away that she's only 10 years old. Then later in LA, Tone the Chiefrocca and his brother Cody busted out "B-DOUBLE-O-T-Y," an original song that they hope is a one-hit wonder. It did earn a standing ovation from the crowd. Heidi quipped that he had "the booties itching to dance" and Howard said they remind him of Psy. The song also inspired Heidi to grind on Howard, which is a lot of fun. What did you think of the "AGT" premiere?... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/06/americas-got-talent-season-8-premiere-anna-christine-and-tone-the-chiefrocca-wow-the-judges.html

'America's Got Talent': Heidi Klum and Mel B. debut as judges - What did you think?

"America's Got Talent" is back for its eighth season. Sharon Osbourne left the judge's table at the end of last season, and in her place two new judges debuted.Heidi Klum and Spice Girl Mel B. have stepped up, creating a four judge panel for the first time in the show's history. As there are four judges, there's also a slight change in the rules. To move forward, competitors now need be approved by three judges, as opposed to two.Returning judge Howard Stern seemed to have the most fun with his new sidekicks. As could be expected, he loved Heidi. There was also a montage of Spice Girls jokes he made at Mel's expense. It's all in good fun though, right? This early in the competition it's hard to tell how Mel and Heidi will work out, but they seem to be holding their own so far.All that really matters is what you think. For that, there's... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/06/americas-got-talent-heidi-klum-and-mel-b-debut-as-judges---what-did-you-think.html

'America's Got Talent's' Mel B: 'It's unfortunate for them that their parents don't tell them' they don't have talent

As bizarre auditions slogged on, "America's Got Talent" started to sound like a misnomer rather than the NBC summer hit that returns for its eighth season Tuesday, June 4.The judges -- original Howie Mandel, crowd favorite Howard Stern, and newcomers Mel B and Heidi Klum -- are far kinder to the rejected contestants than the audience is.After auditions in New Orleans and San Antonio, and before Los Angeles and Chicago, hopefuls queue up at Manhattan's Hammerstein Ballroom, which looks spiffier on camera. In person, the show has even more of a Coliseum feel to it. Stern strides through the adoring, amped-up crowd and receives more cheers than any of the performers.During a break, the judges chat with Zap2it, reflecting on what they've seen so far.The hardest part "is when you have a kid onstage," Klum says of a boy who auditioned earlier. "He couldn't sing.""It is unfortunate for them that their parents don't tell them," Mel... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/06/americas-got-talents-mel-b-its-unfortunate-for-them-that-their-parents-dont-tell-them-they-dont-have-talent.html
