'America's Got Talent' Semifinal Predictions: Who Survives to Make the Top 12?

The first group of semifinalists performed on America's Got Talent Tuesday night, and if it's any indication of what's to come, they're going to have to stop calling this the best crop of talent ever in the promos. I know that's standard reality TV fodder, but the show was a disappointment as a whole, with only a few acts succeeding in standing out. Read More.... //www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-got-talent/americas-got-talent-semifinal-51032.aspx

'AGT': Forte's Operatic Take On 'Unchained Melody' Wins The Night

The first night of semi-finals on " America's Got Talent " wrapped with a show-stopping vocal performance from Forte. The three guys who met online and formed this group for the purpose of trying out for "AGT" gave an %0A" target="_hplink">operatic performance of "Unchained Melody" that transcended language -- which was a good thing, as most of it was not sung in English. 'America's Got Talent' Season 8 semifinals Week 1: The singing acts have it

We find out at the top of the "America's Got Talent" that the Kristef Brothers had a terrible accident during their rehearsal, sending one brother crashing to the floor on his head. This means that they are not performing this week but hopefully can perform next week. This means that Red Panda, who had to withdraw before the quarterfinals due to a family emergency, is here this week as Howie's wild card pick. So, which acts stood out for you? We think the non-singing acts are going to have a hard time. We feel confident in saying that Dave Fenley, Cami Bradley and Forte will advance to the Top 12 and Jonathan Allen might sneak in there, which doesn't leave much room for other types of acts. Angela Hoover and Taylor Williamson will definitely be battling for the comedy vote and we'd give the edge to Taylor. Those two will unfortunately probably keep Collins Key... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/08/americas-got-talent-season-8-semifinals-week-1-the-singing-acts-have-it.html

'America's Got Talent' Semifinals Part 1 Preview: The First 12 (or So) Acts Perform

We're finally down to our top 24 on season 8 of America's Got Talent  -- err, sort of. And we've got a preview of the 12 acts set to hit the stage tonight -- err, sort of. In somewhat baffling moves, AGT has only released the identity of two of the four wildcards, meaning we only know 22 of the top 24 acts. And what is seemingly unrelated is that we only "officially" know 10 of the 12 acts set to perform Tuesday, and even that's not confirmed. Then we had a surprising development about an injury you'll read about below.  Read More... //www.buddytv.com/articles/americas-got-talent/americas-got-talent-semifinals-51010.aspx
