I'm supposing this is our Sons of Anarchy replacement. There aren't any bikers, just a family of outlaws.

Mama Smurf rules her boys with an iron fist. Her daughter (a twin to her first born) is banished from the family and dies from a heroin overdose. So, her son comes to live with a family he barely knows.

Smurf demands honesty and compliance. Her sons involve their nephew in jobs not sanctioned by Smurf. He's between a rock and a hard place. Damned if he tells Smurf about their illegal odd jobs and damned if he goes along with the male code of silence and brotherhood and tries to keep their secrets.

The boys aren't too bright. Throwing around money when Mama Smurf is keeping a tight reign on funds after an off duty policeman working as a security guard is killed during a robbery. She doesn't want any jobs pulled until she says so. They want money for whores, their families and drugs.

And the eldest son is just out of prison after his twin dies. He ain't rapped too tight!

This is an interesting show and will be worth watching. It would seem that this is a true family of screw ups and that Mom has enabled them to be so all along.
