Well, everything has to come to an end at some point. And it was already going down that road where you could tell there is going to be an ending coming up at some point. And, to be honest, it wasn't all that great anymore. Once it started to become a prison drama, it kind of lost something for me. Hopefully, knowing that it will end, they will conclude all the open stories and give the fans a decent ending.

I am surprised that this lasted as long as it did. I lost interest several seasons ago and only tuned in now and then. Hope they clear things up before the final episode.

About time! I am sorry to say but this show has been going downhill for a while. At least they will finish it on their own terms and hopefully we will get a good ending.. hopefully!

It went downhill after Slade and Merlin (the only reason I started to watch is these two my beloved actors)

I think it went downhill once he had been back off the island for 5 years and there was no mysteriousness about his past life no more.

I think it started going downhill when the police started chasing Oliver for being the Arrow but luckily that was saved by Roy. It was then good till he started getting a team and fighting against Prometheus and then getting chased by the cops for being the Green Arrow.
His identity being in danger/known by the police made it bad and the team made it worse. Felicity and Diggle were enough, why bring in a new Black Canary, Wild Dog, and even that old new team in training were bad too. So much unnecessary mistrust and lack of communication. By the way Mr Terrific could've been so much better, I don't like the route they took with him.

I agree with most that the quality dipped in later seasons. But this is still the one that started it all. And I still think Oliver is one of the best characters in the CW DC lineup. I think what made me not like it as much is the focus on the other characters I don't care about (Dinah, Curtis, Rene). The Slabside Redemption is one of the best episodes of Arrow in recent memory. I hope it gets to go out with a bang.

Figured it would, can't really continue after the future forward season currently airing. Never really a big fan of this one, just watched for the crossovers with Supergirl, Flash, and DC Legends.

I have to agree with the last few comments. It got OTT when they started bring in Wild Dog, Dinah, Curtis etc.
I dont think any of the actors/actresses who played them characters were chosed wisely. They were not good actors.

But one thing that did bother me was the constant bringing back of Laurel Lance. Did she really need to come back and stay from another world?

But the whole "Future forward" thing that Guster has pointed out, is not needed. I dont see how it is going to play into the time line. It's there as a stocking filler, to make more episodes.

The one thing I will miss about Arrow, is the Christmas Episodes.

They wont kill her off. She is in the future episodes And lets face it, if they kill her off in the future, it's going to have no issues with the present.

But if Arrow is gone, who is gonna let all of the bad guys kill more good people because they were such SJWs and can't kill the bad guys anymore? Oh wait, we still have The Flash for that. Supergirl and Black Lightning will do the same, I'm sure, but they just aren't worth watching for so many other reasons.

As much, as it sucks its for the best no one wanted it to last 15 or 20 seasons like supernatural. All I Hope fore is that rather its spinoffs or new shows that the arrowverse stays alive. I would love to see a series based on willaim and mia and a superboy show'd be awsome.

Noooo not Superboy. We already had one of them about 15 years ago (Smallville). Besides Superman is already in SuperGirl so would be too weird.

Would love to see Mr Freeze in something though.

How about the following spin offs.

- As Green Lantern never works in film format, would love to see a Green Lantern series
- Perhaps Dick Grayson, a spin off from Bat woman
- Martian Manhunter

It was a matter of time, 8 season would be a great run for the show. I hope they end it on a high note.

It was only a matter of time till this was concluded.

The main question, what new character development will the Arrowverse come up with... I can't see any of the current heroes having their own show runners....

I'm not too upset about this. I feel like they've done all they can do with it. I'm sad to see the characters go though.

@Fleaburn74 " I can't see any of the current heroes having their own show runners"

No they will become the crew of Legends of Tomorrow.

Brandon Routh aka Ray is becoming a little stale and not getting as much cam time as he used too.
Same with Caity Lotz aka Sara Lance.
In fact Mick is also getting a little boring.

I can see .....

Roy Harper coming on to the show and possibly John Diggle.

Show went bad in 4-5 season and then was good again in sixth. I have not seen 7th yet so not sure what to expect. All good things must come to an end, I guess.

I have a love-hate relationship with this show... I love Stephen - Oliver but the storylines sometimes... come on... It would be sad, but the storyline as of late doesn't make sense. Where is Oliver? Curtis left, Diana lost her cry, but where is John, Lila, Oliver? Why is John and Lila's son talking about being adopted? Didn't their daughter turn into a son when Flash messed up the timeline?? So why was he talking about being adopted?? A lot of flashbacks in Arrow doesn't coincide with Legends flash-forward episodes, where Arrow was in hiding and John's son was wearing the hood...

They will be missed...

1. Coincidentally I have been thinking about the legends episode where Diggles' son was the arrow and the only answer I can give is, it was an alternative time line, that has since been closed. If I remember rightly, in that episode Arrow had previously lost an arm in it too.

However upon doing some research online, I found this for you. Sadly I cannot post links on here @CherylM7, but if you google some of the paragraph, you will find the website.

rrow’s Connor Hawke is not an adult JJ, and “Training Day” may explain why.

If you’re an Arrow fan who also watches Legends of Tomorrow, chances are you were confused when Connor Hawke introduced himself as John Diggle’s adopted son in the Season 7 flash-forwards. Joseph David-Jones also played Connor Hawke in an alternate timeline on Legends, but he was John Diggle Jr. (He didn’t use his name because he didn’t feel like he deserved to, after his father was killed.)

In “Training Day,” which aired on Monday, Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger tells Laurel that Diaz is dead. Someone burned him alive in his cell at the end of the previous episode, but Slabside is covering it up and claiming he was stabbed. Turner knows who did it, but he wants something in return for the information. Laurel can’t make good on Oliver’s promise to get him his freedom, but she can bring Turner’s son to visit him.

It’s during this visit that we find out Turner’s son’s name is Connor. Furthermore, Turner calls him his “little hawk.” Clearly something happens that leads to Diggle adopting Turner’s son.

Does this mean we're gonna have another season of bad wigs? Seriously, they are so terrible, I don't even know why they're bothering.
