Three-part mini-series, based on real events, about Arthur Conan Doyle's attempt to clear the name of George Edalji; a half-Indian, vicar's son who was wrongly convicted of a bizarre crime in the 1800s.
An enjoyable mini-series. Clines shines as Doyle, even in a cast where all of the actors performed well. It might have been a problem with my local station but I found the sound quality to be distractingly poor. I was bored by the love story, too, which took away more than it added. I think it suffered from a lack of time to dedicate to it, but it really felt undeveloped and unconvincing. Still - entertaining and worth investing a few hours to watch.
