‘Beauty And the Beast’ Season 2: What About Tess and J.T.

Since the beginning of  Beauty And the Beast  in the fall of 2012, the focus – of course – has been on the relationship between Detective Catherine Chandler (series lead Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent Keller (series lead Jay Ryan); but what about the other would-be couple that has very slowly been developing on the show? Who would that be? Well, none other than Tess (series regular Nina Lisandrello) and J.T. (series regular Austin Basis) obviously. They may seem like the most unlikely pairing on the show, but after the kiss they shared at Thanksgiving and the rather awkward attempts by J.T. on Valentine’s Day, you have got to give the guy credit for at least trying, right? ‘Beauty And the Beast’ (Season 2): Separate Ways

This second season of  Beauty And the Beast  has been a test of endurance for Catherine (series lead Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (series lead Jay Ryan) between tracking Vincent down after he was taken by Catherine’s biological father (recurring guest star Ted Whittall); running Muirfield into the ground; ending Vincent’s run as an assassin against the other existing beasts; oh, and a little encounter between the two of them that ended with Vincent getting shot by Catherine. And that one bullet did more than nearly take Vincent’s life, it put the once loving couple at odds with each other. After a year and a half of Vincent and Catherine being a couple – in one way or another – they have gone their separate ways with Vincent seemingly starting a relationship with Tori (recurring guest star Amber Skye Noyes) – who shares ties with Vincent in the fact that she is a beast too – while Catherine has a paramour in Gabe (series regular Sendhil Ramamurthy), who she will – more than likely – start a relationship with too especially given that not all too surprising kiss at the end of Monday night’s episode.
