'Blue Bloods': Donnie Wahlberg is debuting director

"It's no pressure, coming after our two highest-rated episodes since the pilot. No pressure for me at all."So says Donnie Wahlberg, wryly, about his directing debut on CBS' "Blue Bloods" Friday (Jan. 31). He also remains very evident as an actor as his weekly character, NYPD Detective Danny Reagan, and partner Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) probe the murder of a reality-show-star drag queen. Meanwhile, Danny's prosecutor sister Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is kidnapped by a woman who wants a new investigation of her son's drug-related murder case."It was a challenge, but it was a lot of fun," Wahlberg tells Zap2it of working both sides of the camera. "I've kind of known that I would eventually direct at some point ... but I guess I've just watched so many directors go through so many challenges, I've always thought, at the end of the day, 'Maybe I'm more of a producer than a director.'"It's something I was always... //

TV ratings: ABC scores demo wins while CBS takes Friday

Fast National ratings for Friday, Jan. 17, 2014It was another solid Friday night for the usual suspects on ABC and CBS, with the triple whammy of "Undercover Boss," "Hawaii Five-0" and "Blue Bloods" snagging the night's most viewers, while ABC pulled wins in the 18-49 demographic with "Shark Tank" and "20/20." Unfortunately, the low debut for FOX's new comedy "Enlisted" wasn't a fluke, with 0.4 million viewers dropping out from premiere week -- which wouldn't actually that big of a drop if the number weren't so low in the first place. CBS won the night overall with an average 10.6 million viewers and a 6.6 rating/11 household share. ABC trailed behind with 6.3 million (4.2/7), while NBC nabbed 5.2 million (3.3/6), FOX got 4.5 million (2.7/5) and The CW trailed with 801,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.In the 18-49 demo, however, ABC pulled ahead with an average of 1.7 for the night, with CBS earning... //

'Blue Bloods' Marisa Ramirez would like to be invited to dinner

Zap2it: You've hardly had any screen time with Tom Selleck on "Blue Bloods," but how do you find him?Marisa Ramirez: I don't even really get to be there when he's filming anything. I'll usually be in hair and makeup when he's doing that, so it's not like I've gone onto the set and watched him, but he has been very sweet to me ... and warm and kind and generous and supportive. That's helped, especially being a newcomer.Zap2it: Do you think your character, Maria, ever will be a guest at the weekly Reagan family dinner?Marisa Ramirez: I don't know! Maybe not as a guest. Maybe she'll drop off some doughnuts or something. Or maybe she'll knock on the door by accident, see what's going on and say, "Hey, I'm kinda hungry. Can I sit?" It would be nice to be invited, but I'm OK to just stay on the work front.Zap2it: "General Hospital" and "The... //
