Blue Bloods Season 8 Finale Review: CBS NYPD Drama Aims For Closure

SPOILER ALERT:This story contains details of tonight's Blue Bloods Season 8 finale. Blue Bloods has long been and will continue to be one of my favorite Big 4 series and tonight's Season 8 finale of the Tom Selleck led NYPD family drama served to confirm that opinion. In lieu of the traditional cliffhanger, the end of this season of the already renewed show brought resolution and depth at a point when most procedurals are barely doing much but going through the   ...Read More... http://deadline.com/2018/05/blue-bloods-finale-season-8-recap-review-amy-carlson-tom-selleck-nypd-cbs-1202388879/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 22 Review: My Aim is True

Wow! Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 22 started off with me in tears, and ended with me cheering. The smile still hasn't left my face. But let's start from the beginning... The snow covered cemetary set quite the scene as Danny visited Linda's gravesite. Listening to Danny talk to that stone with her name on it was heartbreaking, mostly because he sounded so lonely without her.  ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/05/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-22-review-my-aim-is-true/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 21 Review: The Devil You Know

Officer Eddie Jankogot to play the hero on Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 21 when she saved the life of a stolen baby. I was a little surprised that Jamie was so willing to call it a day when their shift had ended. I know that the case was officially in the hands of the detectives, and they've taken some flack for over stepping in the past, but this was a missing newborn. Jamie's usually the one who follows his gut feeling and Eddie always has his back. This time the roles were reversed.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/05/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-21-review-the-devil-you-know/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 20 Review: Your Six

Who can you trust to have your back? That was the question on Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 20 , and at times, the answer was surprising. Especially for Danny, who found his arch enemy, mobster Victor Hugo, was surprisingly helpful in tracking down a cop killer. Victor Hugo has been one of the more entertaining criminals on Blue Bloods Season 8 . Remember when he sent a singing donut to humiliate Danny at work? Danny may have admired Victor's expensive car, but he had no love for the man himself, and the feeling was mutual.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-20-review-your-six/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 19 Review: Risk Management

Jamie and Eddie watched in horror as a good decision went bad on Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 19 . Should they have chosen not to pursue the carjacker? I know that high-speed car chases in congested areas are very dangerous, but what's a police officer supposed to do, wave at the criminal as he drives away? ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-19-review-risk-management/

Blue Bloods Recap: Did Jamie and Eddie Finally Pull the Trigger on Romance?

This Friday on CBS Blue Bloods, after almost five years of working together, police officers Jamie Reagan and Edit Eddie Janko still are police officers working together. That said, one of them this week came very close to pouring out their heart to the other. But the Boss got in the way. Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 18 Review: Friendship, Love, and Loyalty

I've been looking forward to Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 18 since I read the description before it aired. First off because Jamie and Eddie have been criminally underused during Blue Bloods Season 8 , and Eddie taking a bullet to the vest meant that she and Jamie would get real screen time. But mostly because it finally appeared that we might get some forward momentum concerning the relationship between these two characters whose feelings run so much deeper than just partners. I'll admit that I love Eddie Janko, especially during moments such as when she was lying in her hospital bed trying to figure out what to say to the Police Commissioner. The expression on her face was priceless.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/04/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-18-review-friendship-love-and-loyal/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 17 Review: Close Calls

How many chances do you give someone, especially if they are family? That's just one of the questions that was being pondered during Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 17 . When Frank's former partner, Lenny Ross, turned up in a holding cell, Frank wasn't just alerted, he crawled out of bed in the middle of the night to get the whole story straight from Lenny.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/03/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-17-review-close-calls/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 16 Review: Tale of Two Cities

Trust and loyalty were at the core of Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 16 . Some questioned it, other earned it, and a few lost it completely. The murder victim at the center of Danny and Baez's investigation was perhaps the worst of the bunch. Jack Thompson lied to everyone. His wife, his multiple kids, and his fiance and new baby, but I had to give him credit for keeping his double life within a certain geographic proximity. Jack had one family on one side of Central Park, and the second on the other. The locations of each family were definitely convenient, although it did lead to his demise.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2018/03/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-16-review-tale-of-two-cities/
