Blue Bloods Recap 10/13/17: Season 8 Episode 3 “The Enemy of My Enemy”

Erin’s latest case had become dangerous before she knew it on tonight’s episode of "Blue Bloods" and the only person she could turn to was her brother, Danny. Erin had been working on a case against Chao Lin. Chao Lin was a female mob boss that has killed, maimed, and trafficked individuals for years however she made one mistake. She had recorded a moment when she ordered a man to lose his hand for not respecting her and so that had given Erin everything she needed to put Chao Lin away. But the woman wasn’t going down without a fight. She had her lawyer do everything he could to stop that video from airing in court and she had even threatened Erin. However, Erin wouldn’t back down and neither did the judge. The judge on the case had thought the video was admissible and told Erin she could use during the trial. So that same judge was later found dead after someone through him off a rooftop. Erin, though, knew it was Chao and had asked her brother to investigate the judge’s murder. Danny was the only one Erin trusted enough to find a link between the judge’s murder and Chao. Chao shouldn’t be allowed to get away with murdering a sitting judge. READ MORE...

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 3 Review: The Enemy of My Enemy

Frank Reagan argues with the mayor so much that Blue Bloods might as well be subtitled "Frank vs. the Mayor". It doesn't matter who's sitting in Gracie Mansion; Frank will inevitably have a problem with him or her. I love seeing Frank fight passionately for what he believes in, but his war with the mayor gets old after a while. That's why Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 3 was so refreshing. Even though Frank was having the same old problem, the Mayor didn't appear on-screen at all and the whole thing was tackled from another angle.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/10/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-3-review-the-enemy-of-my-enemy/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 2 Review: Ghosts of the Past

There was so much not said on Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 2 that I found it more frustrating than entertaining. The most annoying of which was the missing Leah Harris. This could have been a fascinating mystery, if we had only been given all of the answers. Leah disappeared from an overnight camp on Staten Island 13 years ago, never to be seen or heard from again, until now. Leah supposedly just showed up on her mothers doorstep saying shed decided to come home. The original detective thought that made sense because Leah had a history of running away from home, but why wasnt anyone asking questions?   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/10/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-2-review-ghosts-of-the-past/

Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 1 Review: Cutting Losses

There are certain things you expect from a Reagan family dinner. The saying of grace, intelligent conversation, a bit of family squabbling, and Linda Reagan holding the family together. Now thats changed and nothing will ever be the same. When Danny first hinted of retiring at the beginning of Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 1 , I wondered if he and Linda were having marital problems and that was his way of trying to fix it.   ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/09/blue-bloods-season-8-episode-1-review-cutting-losses/

Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 22 Review: The Thin Blue Line

Not a care in the world. It appeared the only person feeling that way on Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 22 was the serial killer who went around bludgeoning the elderly to death. Everyone else had an awful lot on their minds. Danny and Baez started out by forcing their way in to a joint FBI/DEA sting operation to take down a Mexican drug cartel, and it turned out they did their jobs a little too well.   ...Read More... https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/05/blue-bloods-season-7-episode-22-review-the-thin-blue-line/

Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 21 Review: Foreign Interference

There was an awful lot of posturing and strong arming going on in Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 21 and no one came out on top. Danny and Baez had to track down Rambo as he went on a shooting spree around Coney Island. Since we didnt see Sergei, aka Rambo, until he was shot, we basically had to accept Levins explanation that the ex-KGB agent had turned into a terrorist in the field and then snapped. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/blue-bloods-season-7-episode-21-review-foreign-interference/

Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 20 Review: No Retreat No Surrender

The Blue Bloods season finale may not air until May 5th but there was little doubt that Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 20 was laying the foundation for an epic showdown. Perhaps even the end of Frank Reagans tenure as Police Commissioner of the NYPD. I knew things werent going to go well when Frank and Garrett were left waiting for the Mayor for over 20 minutes. Did the man literally sneak out the back door just so he didnt have to face Frank, or was his second in command, Carlton, really that inept? ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/blue-bloods-season-7-episode-20-review-no-retreat-no-surrender/

Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 19 Review: Love Lost

Jack Boyle, Erins ex-husband showed up on Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 19 , mostly to push Erins buttons. At least thats how it came across. From constantly forgetting that she no longer uses the last name Boyle, to taking a meeting for a plea deal he had no intention of accepting, Jack seemed to enjoy irritating his ex. And his 25-year-old girlfriend/associate named Mandy, definitely helped that cause. ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/blue-bloods-season-7-episode-19-review-love-lost/

Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 18 Review: A Deep Blue Goodbye

There were all kinds of important questions asked in Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 18 . Such as, is a mandatory retirement age fair? Can the desire to make amends go too far? And who put the shaving cream in the donut? ...Read More...   https://www.tvfanatic.com/2017/04/blue-bloods-season-7-episode-18-review-a-deep-blue-goodbye/

Blue Bloods Recap 3/10/17: Season 7 Episode 17 “Shadow of a Doubt”

Jamie had had a few questions about a 911 call that he and Eddie had answered. The two had shown up at an apartment where a woman was going through anaphylactic shock and her EpiPen wasn’t working however something about the crime scene and the victim’s husband had seemed off to Jamie. He had found out the husband was an EMT and that the husband had heard his address over the comm only he didn’t go to his wife. But the husband had an explanation for that. He had said he was answering another call at the time with his partner and that they had to do their jobs. So Jamie had checked that out and he had learned that it wasn’t true. Jamie had found out the husband lied to him when he called the other man’s supervisor and heard that the husband had been off the clock when his wife had gotten sick. However, Eddie had thought that the husband might have forgotten it and she wasn’t as suspicious of him as Jamie was. So Jamie had tried going to his brother and Danny practically laughed at him because he said he had better things to do than to check out his kid brother’s theories yet Jamie knew that he was onto something so he had gone to Linda. Linda was a nurse at the same hospital where the wife had been admitted and he had wanted her to check out the EpiPen for him. READ MORE...
