Dana Delaney with her neverending smug attitude and stupid designer handbags that she places in the middle of EVERY crime scene made this one of the most unintentionally hilarious - so bad you have to see it for yourself - shows. Even bringing in the swoony Mark Valley towards the end couldn't save this train wreck. I am surprised it lasted so long.

I understand how the tv land works, but this show did not need to be canceled. There were many stories yet to be explored and a lot to be resolved. That being said, I think they jumped the gun on some of their plot lines. Killing off the most likely love interest before anything happens is the easiest way to lose an audience nowadays.

It was an okay show but in a sea of medical / crime shows it was not a stand out.

I finally got around to watching this show, and binged on the entire three seasons because I was obsessed by the end of the first episode. It gave me a 'Bones' vibe, and possibly influenced more recent shows such as 'Rosewood' which had a similar medical examiner + detective plot, and they even had an actress in common (Toussaint).

Body of Proof had a really strong first season but I think that it struggled as Season 2 progressed (possibly because of the much larger series order), so by Season 3, the end was in sight. I like how they explored themes such as Megan's personal and professional struggles, and Dana Delany really did her character justice. My favourites were Megan and Curtis - Curtis was an absolute joy to listen to; everything that he said was so amusing to me because of his Southern accent!

I feel like there were many missed opportunities to push storylines further on the show, such as the relationship between Megan and Peter which was never given a chance despite their chemistry. Peter was the character who always grounded Megan and helped her to make the right decisions. In an effort to save the show in Season 3, they had to make some changes, some of which I think did more harm than good, such as killing off Peter. This left the show without a medicolegal investigator, and Ethan had to cover the role (I really didn't care much for his character). Also, I wasn't a fan of the political approach that Kate took on in Season 3, nor the addition of Tommy to add drama as Megan's old flame.

Overall, it was a really good show that just struggled to find a large audience amongst all the other medical and procedural dramas that were airing at the time.

Good but the focusing on shoes annoys me, makes a fool out of strong women! Thank the Lord the writer Christopher Murphey does not have a diaper fetish or we´d be in trouble.

I hate that they cancelled this! The main character, Megan Hunt was so clever, and always wore amazing shoes!
