'Bones': Will we see a marriage proposal this season? Should we?

At the beginning of Season 8, "Bones" established that Booth (David Boreanaz) would not as Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to marry him. She would have to ask him instead. That works. But now, as we near the end of the season, is it time for Brennan to pop the question? Should she? What could possibly encourage this eminently rational person to suddenly change her belief that marriage serves no purpose? Will she? There are definite hints that "Bones" is heading in the direction of a marriage proposal, probably sooner rather than later. The most recent episode, "The Blood from the Stones," for example, gave us an entire scene with virtually no purpose other than a discussion on proposals and engagement rings. Sure, Brennan hedged like crazy and refused to budge on her anti-marriage stance, but the idea was out there. This couldn't possibly be the end of it. After all, why waste a recognizable actor like Curtis Armstrong ("Revenge... //

TV ratings: 'The Voice' returns strong, 'Revolution' steady as NBC wins Monday

Fast National ratings for Monday, March 25, 2013The return of "The Voice" and "Revolution" gave NBC a needed ratings boost Monday night, carrying the network to a victory among adults 18-49."The Voice" was up half a point over its fall premiere (although down from its Super Bowl-fueled midseason debut last year), and "Revolution" avoided the steep fall-off that some other dramas that took long breaks suffered in recent years. It was in line with its last few episodes of the fall, although it did fall off a good amount in its second half-hour. The increased competition also pushed "The Following" and "The Carrie Diaries" below their averages. ABC brought in 12.95 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/13 share in households in primetime. NBC (11.3 million, 6.6/10) was a solid second.... //
