The four-hour, two-night event stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) in the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, the depression-era outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades.
Directed by Oscar nominee Bruce Beresford and Executive Produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the all-star cast includes Holly Hunter, William Hurt, Sarah Hyland, Elizabeth Reaser, Lane Garrison, Austin Hebert and Dale Dickey.
I don't even know why I watched this. It wasn't on a channel I watched, and I didn't know who Bonnie and Clyde were. In fact, years after watching this I still am not sure if they were a real couple or if it is something people reference so much it became common knowledge.
Either way, I enjoyed the show.
Nice blend of action and drama based on a true story. Although there are some things that were not confirmed in real life, this mini-series served its purpose. Plus, Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger looked STUNNIIIINNNGG
