TV ratings: 'Up All Night' premiere solid for NBC, 'Survivor' down some Wednesday

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011The "America's Got Talent" finale was down a little from last year's season ender, but it still provided a solid platform to launch NBC's new comedy "Up All Night." Companion comedy "Free Agents" wasn't so fortunate, though, and the debut of "Survivor: South Pacific" was also a little low. And it would appear we are a nation of "H8Rs," as The CW's celeb-boosterism reality series got off to a pretty meager start. "America's Next Top Model" took a tumble as well.NBC led the way Wednesday night with 12.2 million viewers and a 7.4 rating/12 share in households. CBS (9.2 million, 5.5/9) came in second. ABC finished a distant third with 4.5 million viewers and a 2.9/5, followed by FOX at 2.9 million and 2.0/3. "Big Brother" fell some from last week's performance but still tied for the lead in adults 18-49.NBC averaged 7.9 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households Wednesday evening, topping the 6.45 million viewers and 4.1/7 for second-place CBS. ABC (4.5 million, 2.9/5) came in third, a little ahead of FOX (3.9 million, 2.5/4). The Kenos Score Valuable 'Buried Treasure' in a Hoarder's House (VIDEO)

For years, Leslie and Leigh Keno watched as priceless treasures were brought to them on 'Antiques Roadshow.' Now they're hitting the road looking for 'Buried Treasure' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX) on a new reality series. In the premiere, they looked at a violin potentially worth millions, a few Silver Age comic books and collectibles, and sifted through a hoard looking for family heirlooms. It was in the hoard that they found their most surprising discoveries. Lily wanted the Kenos to come because she knew there were some valuable items in her mother's house, but even she had no idea what Liz had buried in there. In fact, Liz had no idea either. "Big Brother" dipped a little, and not many people seemed to notice the premiere of "Buried Treasure" on FOX.NBC drew 7.3 million viewers and a 4.4 rating/7 share in households for the night, topping CBS (6.3 million, 4.1/7) by about a million viewers. ABC (4.2 million, 2.8/5) finished third. FOX took fourth with 3.05 million viewers and a 1.9/3, while The CW trailed with 1 million viewers and a 0.7/1.NBC also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.0 rating.
