'Cops' moves to Spike after FOX cancels long-running series

One of the longest-running series in primetime is jumping networks: FOX has canceled "Cops," but the show has found a new home on cable at Spike."Cops" has been around for almost as long as FOX has. It premiered in March 1989, about 2 1/2 years after the network launched, and was one of the shows that helped the network establish its identity. FOX, however, reduced the show's order for this season and has now officially canceled the show after 25 seasons.Spike is more than happy to keep the franchise rolling, though.
