Christopher Gorham is especially glad to be playing a CIA operative following the agency's role in eliminating Osama bin Laden. The actor returns as blind, extremely active special-ops man Auggie Anderson -- who's been instrumental in training rookie agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) -- when the USA adventure series "Covert Affairs" begins its second season Tuesday, June 7. As happy as he was about last year's sizable ratings, Gorham believes current world events could add extra fuel to the show's sophomore round."The news about Bin Laden gave the country something to be proud of the CIA for again," he tells Zap2it. "Regardless of how you feel about the politics of that agency, and I certainly have some very mixed feelings about those politics, the people who work there are patriots. Oded Fehr to Return to COVERT AFFAIRS

While it feels like forever since USA’s  COVERT AFFAIRS  ended its first season last summer, the show is back in production and news about season 2 is beginning to trickle out. TV Guide  reports  that Oded Fehr is set to reprise his role as Mossad field agent Eyal Levine in the fourth  episode of the new season. Annie (Piper Perabo) and Eyal worked together in Zurich during last season’s "No Quarter" episode. This time around, though, Eyal may prove to be more of a complication–both to Annie’s mission  and her life–than a help. In the episode, when a secretary in the Syrian embassy named Salma  Devrient (guest star Helena Soubeyrand, Taken) falls behind on her rent after her fiancé leaves her, Annie is sent to Paris  to cultivate the vulnerable woman as an asset. It’s not yet clear quite where Eyal fits in, though it sounds like he’s also trying to cultivate Salma as an asset.
