Gather together all of the UK's older leading ladies, add in Philip Glenister and you have another of Elizabeth Gaskell's wonderful novels brought to life by, if I'm not mistaken, the exceptional writer Andrew Davies.

Loved this show, every single second was perfection. Village life, beautiful.

For a show with such an amazing cast, the story felt a little lacking. I'd still recommend it though.
