Dance Mom's Abby Lee Miller: Honey Boo Boo is Out of Shape!

Wait a minute, I thought round was a shape?  The always outspoken Abby Lee Miller had some typically direct advise for Honey Boo Boo when TMZ ran into her on the street.  When TMZ's 'journalist' asked Lee Miller if she had been watching Honey Boo Boo she said "Not Much!"  Then proceeded to a lightening round of advice "She needs to get in shape, she needs to be at a dance studio, she needs to be training, she needs to work on her turnout, the whole nine-yards." As to whether or not her own show, Dance Moms , was exploiting children Miller explained that as a dance teacher her goal is to get kids ready for television, stage, the movies, you name it, so in her mind she is simply achieving her goal.  As for Honey Boo Boo , Miller passed on the opportunity to knock the show stating that their numbers were better than the Republican National Convention, so they must be doing something right. Personally I won't consider it exploitation until Go Go Juice becomes commercially available and they put Honey Boo Boo 's face on the label.  That would just be taking things too far. 'Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller As Herself On 'Drop Dead Diva'

Abby Lee Miller proved up for poking fun at her on-screen persona when she guest-starred as herself on " Drop Dead Diva " (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime). The tough-as-nails " Dance Moms " instructor was brought in as an expert witness, helping determine if another dance teacher is perhaps too hard on her kids. Abby wouldn't know anything about that, would she? Jane actually called Abby out on her own behavior, using clips from "Dance Moms" to show how Abby's approach may not have matched what she said an ideal dance teacher should aspire to do for his or her students. Footage of Jane's client, Deb's mother Bobbie, show a similar brutality. But, as Abby pointed out, while both instructors have had success with their students, Abby has never had a child get a career-ending injury under her care. That's what Bobbie is getting sued for. The insurance attorney agrees to pay out $15,000 to the girl's mother, but then Jane turns around and wins the case in Bobbie's favor -- even after getting fired from it. After realizing how quickly the ambulance arrived, she gets a confession from the girl that she'd really injured herself skateboarding. She was never as into dance as her mother, who was driving both her dancing and the trial. "Drop Dead Diva" continues every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime. Bristol Palin's 'Life's A Tripp' replaced by 'Dance Moms' reruns

It seems that Bristol Palin's reality show "Life's A Tripp" has failed to pick up the viewership that Lifetime hoped to see. With lackluster ratings plaguing the series, Lifetime has bumped it out of the primetime 10 p.m. EST spot, pushing it to 11 p.m. Now, "Dance Moms" reruns will air at 10 p.m. instead.Prioritizing Abby Lee Miller repeat airings over the GOP's newest advocate for abstinence education may seem like a drastic move, but given the fact that less than 800,000 people tuned in for Palin's big premiere, we're not surprised. Meanwhile, the show has also been targeted by a lawsuit from Palin's former "Dancing With the Stars" costar, Kyle Massey, who inked a deal to star in a reality series with Palin for the BIO channel before that show fell through. Massey, his brother Christopher, and their mother Angel claim that they helped develop the show and were pushed out by Lifetime. They're... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/bristol-palins-lifes-a-tripp-replaced-by-dance-moms-reruns.html

'Dance Moms': Did Abby Lee Miller cheat for one of her students?

Abby Lee Miller's star student, Maddie, rose like a tutu-wearing phoenix from the ashes on the June 12 episode of "Dance Moms" when she returned to the stage and danced her solo to perfection after forgetting the number at a previous competition. Not only was she not scheduled to perform the number, but also her music skipped during the performance -- and the kid never missed a beat, leading to a first-place win for Maddie. But on Tuesday's (June 19) episode, some of the other mothers are raising an eyebrow at the scratched CD, suggesting Abby planned the whole thing to get her golden girl back on top."The second Maddie's music stopped, I knew what was going on," Brooke and Paige's mom, Kelly, says.According to Kelly, Abby knows that a performer dancing through a music mishap is a surefire winning number. The moms go on to allege that Maddie's mom, Melissa, knew about the whole... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/dance-moms-did-abby-lee-miller-cheat-for-one-of-her-students.html
