What's Hot Today

Queen Latifah, Tiffani Thiessen also rumored 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 cast material

No sooner do we lament the likely reality-star-packed status of "Dancing With the Stars" upcoming 13th Season, than the ballroom gods mock us with two much more exciting rumors. TMZ reports Oscar-winning actress and female rap icon Queen Latifah and Bayside High's own Kelly Kapowski -- ahem, "White Collar" star Tiffani Theissen -- are set to join the cast. The site claims that both actresses join the previously reported Rob Kardashian and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi as locks for Season 13.We're taking this Latifah development with a sizable grain of salt, but only because we don't want to get our hopes up. Is this the kind of A-list infusion you're ready to see on "DWTS" or do you think the show can do better?... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/08/queen-latifah-tiffani-thiessen-also-rumored-dancing-with-the-stars-season-13-cast-material.html

Kristin Cavallari joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13's rumored cast

We don't know what to think of the names currently floating around for the upcoming 13th season of "Dancing With the Stars," but if there's any weight to the rumors, it looks like we can expect a lot of reality types."Hills" and "Laguna Beach" alum Kristin Cavallari is the latest reportedly in talks. Access Hollywood points to a source who claims the 24-year-old has officially been offered a contract to join. It's not exactly a stretch for the show -- fellow "Hills"-er Audrina Patridge placed 7th alongside Tony Dovolani in Season 11 -- but when you consider that Rob Kardashian and "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi are also considered possible contestants, that's a whole lot of reality. ABC remains tight-lipped about the cast and will continue to do so until the Aug. 29 casting reveal that will take place during an episode of "Bachelor Pad."Think Cavallari has what it takes to compete for... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/08/kristin-cavallari-joins-dancing-with-the-stars-season-13s-rumored-cast.html

Jeffrey Ross Makes Fun of His Brief, Painful 'Dancing With the Stars' Experience (VIDEO)

Comedian Jeffrey Ross is best known for his joke-telling and roasting skills, not his dance moves. But he did have a short-lived run on Season 7 of 'Dancing With the Stars,' that brought him to the emergency room with a scratched cornia, dressed in sequined jumpsuit. On 'Green Room With Paul Provenza' (Thu., 11PM on SHO.), Ross and fellow 'DWTS'-alum Margaret Cho rehashed their less than stellar experiences on the show. "My partner, Edyta, the last rehearsal, she gets fake fingernails put in, and I was doing my last move, and her nail went into my cornia," Ross said. He ended up dancing on the show with, "an eyepatch on ... against doctor's orders, and I got beat by Cloris Leachman." Ross and his partner were the first couple voted off the show that season. "I got voted off during 'Jeopardy!', before the show even aired," he joked. //www.aoltv.com/2011/08/12/jeffrey-ross-looks-back-dancing-with-the-stars-video/

Louis Van Amstel Teaches 'The Talk' Ladies Some New Dance Moves (VIDEO)

Louis Van Amstel usually has to contend with just one celebrity at a time as a dancer on 'Dancing With the Stars.' Tuesday on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), he had a full complement of four to deal with, as he tried to teach Leah Remini, Sarah Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen a few moves. Van Amstel stood at the front of a dance floor with the four hosts behind him. They tried to keep up as he shook his shoulders and rolled his hips to Latin music. Remini and Osbourne turned it into a dance a little more their speed, breaking into an impromptu square dance do-si-do. //www.aoltv.com/2011/08/09/louis-van-amstel-teaches-the-talk-ladies-new-dance-moves-video/

Roseanne Barr has a wish, a reality TV wish: She wants to compete on 'Dancing With the Stars.' "I really wanna do that show," Barr told XoJane. However, there's something standing in her way. 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13 rumor mill: Sizing up the potential new cast

Dust off your sequined unitard and your man-sized dance heels because Season 13 of "Dancing With the Stars" is almost upon us. The next outing kicks off Sept. 19 on ABC -- and though we can't expect the official casting announcement until about three weeks shy of the premiere, speculation about the next batch of hopeful celebrity competitors is already a particularly hot topic.... Which is kind of a surprise given how quiet things were on the "DWTS" front on the eve of Season 12. Names didn't start rolling in until a few days before the cast was unveiled. But with nearly two months to go before the premiere, people like Rob Kardashian, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike Tyson have all been thrown into the ring. Adding to the mystery, TMZ issued a report saying that the veteran reality series (nominated for two Emmys this year, thank you very much) was getting a little... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/08/dancing-with-the-stars-season-13-rumor-mill-sizing-up-the-potential-new-cast.html

Rob Kardashian Joins 'Dancing With the Stars': Report

Rob Kardashian has joined the cast of 'Dancing With the Stars,' according to TMZ. So much for the bigger celebrity mandate. The report cites multiple sources claiming Rob will follow in his sister Kim's footsteps and do the cha cha cha on ABC's hit reality dancing competition. Kim was on the series in 2008. There were concerns about Rob's schedule, especially with older sister Kim's upcoming wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries, but those have been worked out. Earlier reports had producers chasing Rob, 'Jersey Shore' star Snooki and singer/actress Christina Milian. However, producers are reportedly targeting bigger stars, hoping to avoid the "Who?" questions many cast members, particularly reality stars, have warranted in the last few seasons. //www.aoltv.com/2011/07/28/rob-kardashian-dancing-with-the-stars/

'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13: Bigger Names, Worse Performances?

When 'Dancing With the Stars' returns for Season 13, expect bigger names ... and possibly worse performances. According to a new TMZ report, producers have been given direct orders to avoid D-List celebrities and go after bigger stars. Instead of saying "Who!?" audiences might be saying "How did they get him!?" As part of this renewed focus on attracting household-name celebrities, producers are reportedly offering stars complete control over the rehearsal schedules. Yep, they are saying there is no minimum rehearsal requirements -- that could mean audiences are in for some disastrous dances. //www.aoltv.com/2011/07/25/dancing-with-the-stars-season-13-bigger-celebrities/
