Kristin Cavallari has a reason to visit Chicago, picks 'Dancing With the Stars' winner

The only thing more surprising than reality star Kristin Cavallari's early elimination from "Dancing With the Stars" was the nonchalance with which she took the news. "DWTS" shockers are typically accompanied by tears or visible resentment, but Cavallari seemed fine with the results when Zap2it and other press caught up with her backstage at the show. "Everyone had really sad stories... and mine was graduating high school and moving to LA."She also had a little warning about her exit. Partner Mark Ballas predicted their departure just 15 minutes before Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke delivered the news. 'Dancing With the Stars'' Kristin Cavallari: Why I Got Voted Off (Video)

Kristin Cavallari  and  Mark Ballas  were voted off  Dancing With the Stars  Tuesday night despite scoring a healthy 24 the evening before. Cavallari -- who rose to fame starring on MTV's  The Hills  -- said on  Jimmy Kimmel Live!  Tuesday that she was "a little bit" surprised with the results. Kimmel joked, "Do you regret not having a sex change?" referring to fan favorite  Chaz Bono. "I do a little bit now. If I could go back in time…" laughed Cavallari. Cavallari went on, "I thought I improved as the three weeks went on. It wasn't that big amount of time, but compared to the first week, I definitely got better." 'Dancing With the Stars' Week 3 Elimination Shocks the Judges (VIDEO)

According to Len Goodman on the 'Dancing With the Stars' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC) results show for this third week, "My expectations were that these two couples would be fighting for the final and maybe one of them going home with the Mirror Ball." He was talking about the two couples left standing in threat of elimination. !!SPOILER ALERT!! That said, though, neither of them had the highest scores on the previous night, though they also didn't have the lowest scores either. What they clearly had was not a large enough fan base. Or maybe, as Tom Bergeron suggested, everyone just assumed they were safe. //www.aoltv.com/2011/10/05/dancing-with-the-stars-week-3-elimination-video/

'Dancing With the Stars' elimination: Kristin Cavallari is so dunzo

It's Week 3 of "Dancing With the Stars" -- now in its 13th season, for those of you keeping track at home -- and tonight we bid adieu to "Laguna Beach" blonde Kristin Cavallari. (Yeah, we know she was on "The Hills" too. We're trying to forget.)Kristin and partner Mark Ballas were in the bottom three along with Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya and Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. It's a relatively surprising turn of events -- all three judges praised Kristin's performance to "Crazy in Love," which represented 2005, her graduation year (which we all saw play out quite dramatically on MTV). She received a combined score of 24 with 8s from all 3 judges. Do you think Kristin deserved to get the boot? Drop us a line in the comments below!... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/10/dancing-with-the-stars-elimination-kristin-cavallari-is-so-dunzo.html

'Dancing With the Stars': Chynna Phillips already plotting another Wilson Phillips dance

If you were surprised Chynna Phillips pulled out the big guns -- performing to her iconic hit, "Hold on" -- only three weeks into the new season of "Dancing With the Stars," you're not alone. But the Wilson Phillips singer says it was a no-brainer."[It was] very moving for me," Chynna told press, including Zap2it, backstage after the show, adding that having band-mates Carnie and Wendy Wilson there made it even more special. "There was no second-guessing it. I knew that was the most memorable year of my life... Going through everything I that I had gone through and coming out the other side was just really important."Someone not as convinced was partner Tony Dovolani, who got a little nervous when he realized he was choreographing a dance for the song's writer."At first I was excited i got the song," says Tony. "Then I thought... people are going to hate me if I don't... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/10/dancing-with-the-stars-chynna-phillips-already-plotting-another-wilson-phillips-dance.html
