Carrie Ann Inaba blogs that her father died days before 'Dancing with the Stars' premiere

The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 16 premiere was a bittersweet one for judge Carrie Ann Inaba. Just a few days before the competition show began its season on ABC, Inaba lost her father, Rodney Y. "But I felt my father's spirit was with me last night, supporting me and cheering me on."Despite her grief, Inaba did not give away that she was hurting throughout the show. She made her typical dancing critiques and even managed to jokingly... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/03/carrie-ann-inaba-blogs-that-her-father-died-days-before-dancing-with-the-stars-premiere.html

'Dancing With the Stars': Sean Lowe debuts with fiancee Catherine Giudici and his parents cheering

For their first dance on "Dancing With the Stars," "Bachelor" Sean Lowe and partner Peta Murgatroyd did a foxtrot to Huey Lewis' "Power of Love." Sean was definitely flashing his pearly whites and trying his best, but he was also pretty stiff at times. However, there is room to grow -- Sean wasn't completely devoid of talent or potential. We could see him getting better as the season goes on. The judges were nice, though not overly gushing. "I liked it. I didn't like it a lot, but I liked certain parts ... your posture was good, I liked your footwork. Your dancing needs to be more refined," says Len. Bruno calls it "hunky and chunky and very masculine," then compares it to a Chippendales version of a ballroom dance. Carrie Ann adds, "I liked it rough," which ... down, girl. But she liked his "fearless exuberance."Did you spot Sean's new fiancee Catherine Giudici... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/03/dancing-with-the-stars-sean-lowe-debuts-with-fiancee-catherine-giudici-and-his-parents-cheering.html

Dogs are loyal that way.Plus, gimmicks are always good for votes at the beginning of any "DWTS" season.According to TMZ.com, Giggy's participation in Lisa's dance with professional partner Gleb Savchenko depends on the Pomeranian avoiding poop mishaps and other dog-like behaviors on the ballroom floor. But if little Giggy does well, we may be seeing more... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/03/dancing-with-the-stars-lisa-vanderpumps-dog-giggy-will-dance-in-the-season-16-premiere.html
