Dancing With the Stars Season 17 finally had its a "shocking" elimination on Week 5, which means everyone's going to on their toes during Week 6. Will we have a repeat WTF elimination next week, or will things seattle back to normal with one of the lower scorers getting the boot? The fifth week of Dancing with the Stars season 17 saw the first big shock as Christina Milian and Mark Ballas were eliminated. Every season Dancing With the Stars boasts at least one "shocking" elimination, and Season 17 filled the quota during Week 5, when Christina Milian was eliminated right after earning the first 10 of the season and landing on top of the leaderboard. Christina ended up under the harsh red light despite her scores. On Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5 Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi reflected on her old Jersey Shore self, picking 2012, the year her son Lorenzo was born, as her most memorable year. She talked about how the world thought she would be a terrible mom, but how she knew as soon as she saw her baby that she could do whatever it takes to be a great mother. She and Sasha Farber danced a Jazz routine to "Work Bitch" by Britney Spears to represent what a hard working woman she's become. And? On Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5 the stars all had to recall their most memorable year. Brant Daugherty picked 2009, the year his father died of lymphoma. He told a touching story about how his father always supported him in his dream of being an actor. He and Peta Murgatroyd danced a Contemporary dance to "Your Song," by Elton John to celebrate his father's influence in his life. (No, we're not crying. OK, maybe a little.) For Most Memorable Year week on Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5, Amber Riley picked 2009, the year she was turned down on American Idol...and then cast on Glee, one of the biggest hits of the year. She and Derek Hough did a Foxtrot to the Glee version of "Try A Little Tenderness." The dance was energetic and Amber was full of smiles, which we love. In some ways it felt too energetic for a normally more fluid Foxtrot, and there wasn't much in hold. On Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5, Elizabeth Berkley picked out her Most Memorable year, as everyone did. Only she kinda picked two: 2012, the year her son was born, and 1989, the year she started Saved by the Bell. She wants her son to go after his dreams, just like she did. She and Val Chmerkovskiy did a Samba to, what else? "I'm so Excited," by The Pointer sisters.
