'Deception' finale: Who killed Vivian Bowers?

NBC's high-society murder drama "Deception" is not likely to be renewed for a second season, but luckily, the writers revealed who the killer was, instead of leaving a cliffhanger that might not ever be resolved.Meredith Vieira guest starred on the season finale as herself, interviewing the Bowers in the wake of the "revelation" that Audrey Cruz, a former employee of the Bowers family, had Vivian killed. But Detective Locasto knows it wasn't Cruz and doggedly continues on with the investigation. It turns out Vivian's time of death was off -- she wasn't killed at the hotel where she was found, she was killed in the Bowers' family wine cellar and moved to the hotel. By her own father. Robert killed Vivian and stuffed her in a suitcase, to move her to the hotel. It's also implied that perhaps Robert had something to do with the death of his first wife, Catherine. 'Deception': High society style on a cop show budget

Usually TV characters have better wardrobes than their real-life counterparts ...OK, those waitress uniforms on "2 Broke Girls" are an exception. But on "Deception," NBC's Monday night soap, the characters are so wealthy that it would be unlikely a freshman show could buy high-end enough wardrobes that would hang in these one percenters' walk-in closets."I don't have a fancy budget," Amy Roth, the show's costume designer, tells Zap2it. "With these first-season shows, you want to show you can make this TV series great. You don't want to spend a lot of money until it's a hit. I am doing this on the budget of a cop show.""It is super wealthy, and I do spend a lot of time in Bergdorf's, and I love it, and I put my money where it matters," Roth says. "I spend my money pretty much on the waist up.
