The roller drives into Defiance and Nolan and the others spot it. They prepare to shoot but the roller breaks to a halt... and Stahma gets out. She says that Datak is in need of medical attention and they take him to the hospital. They claim that the VC attacked them as they escaped in a roller, and Datak was injured and they lost Alak in the escape. He warns that the VC are nearby and have a hundred soldiers. Yewll stitches up his wounds and storms out past Nolan, who asks what happened to Rafe. Datak regretfully and truthfully tells him that the VC killed Rafe, Christie, and Quentin. Once Nolan and the others leave, Stahma quits crying and exchanges glances with her husband. READ MORE...
