Blended families are a challenge to navigate for anyone involved, but for Amber and her husband, Marcus, they say they are dealing with some major issues. Amber wrote into the show because she says she can’t stand her husband’s ex-wife, Cari, and accuses her of alienating her stepsons. Amber also claims her husband’s ex has Munchausen syndrome and Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Amber claims Cari is overmedicating the boys and that she faked having cancer. Cari says she can’t be in the same room with Marcus for more than two minutes without a fight, and that Amber wants her sons to herself. Amber and Marcus want sole custody of their young sons while Cari says she is looking for a way to end the drama and co-parent in peace.
