'Figure it Out' returning to Nickelodeon for 40 new episodes

Children of the '90s, rejoice: Nickelodeon just announced that it is bringing the seminal late-'90s game show "Figure it Out" back to the airwaves for 40 brand-new episodes. The series ran for four seasons from 1997-1999, and featured four famous (among kids) celebrities trying to guess a kid's hidden talent. Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, who recently competed on Food Network's "Celebrity Cook Off," hosted. Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's President of Development and Original Programming, says in a statement, "'Figure It Out' is a show that celebrates kids and their wonderful and often bizarre talents. In this internet age where kids are expressing themselves online, it feels timely to give them a TV platform to showcase those talents in a uniquely Nickelodeon way."Sanders won't be back as host -- instead Nick producer and "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" host Jeff Sutphen will take the reins.
