Review of Flesh and Bone

60 minutes

Created/executive produced by Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad) and executive produced by Lawrence Bender, Kevin Brown and John Melfi, Flesh And Bone is described as a dark and gritty drama that unflinchingly explores the dysfunction and glamour of the ballet world and follows a young ballet dancer, Claire (Sarah Hay), who has a distinctly troubled past, as she joins a prestigious ballet company in New York.

Well this was interesting... If you're a fan of ballet, you will love the work in the last episode. if you are a fan of drama, this has plenty, and its dysfunctional drama. I'm not sure there are any likeable characters, this is why I haven't rated it higher. Also, this is a one-season run show, but it doesn't seem as if that was the initial intention because the ending is not very satisfying. Without spoiling anything... it does not end with a cliffhanger (thank God) but the viewer is left to make assumptions.
