``Funeral Boss'' profiles a man who gives the subject of death its proper respect. Bill Harris is the CEO of William C. Harris Funeral Directors and Cremation Service in St. Louis, a family business he insists on running his way. That means the staff must keep a constant focus on the grief of loss and the celebration of life, and each episode documents the Harris clan as they help families on the emotional journey of saying goodbye to a loved one. Bill's son, William III, aspires to be the funeral home's boss, but not if CFO Tiara, Bill's ``baby girl,'' gets her way. Brothers Windall and Westley also work at the business as vice presidents.
