It's no Boy Meets World — keep in mind, despite its 90s inspiration, it still IS a 2014 Disney Channel comedy — but it's cute. If you can get past the almost-unbearable corniness of the Pilot episode, you'll see in later episodes that Rowan Blanchard has a lot of Cory Matthews-style humor and quirks that Boy Meets World fans will appreciate and enjoy!

A very cute fam-sitcom. If you were a fan of the original show it will be nostalgic to see old faces. But the show is also fun and educational for tweens.

LOVE THIS SHOW! Great feel good short episodes
Totally awesome seeing the next generation of much loved Boy Meets World!
I must admit, I thought Season 1&2 were awesome, Season 3 hasn't felt quite as good.

I will admit I was nervous about GMW as it is part of the new disney era of TV. And while I admit the pilot was corny at times, the rest of the season has been a perfect blend of new disney and everything I loved about BMW. For fans of BMW, keep in mind that this show's target audience is tweens/teens who are used to the style of new disney and enjoys it too. GMW needs this audience to enjoy it so it can keep going and evolve from there. It's not going to be exactly like BMW and it shouldn't, it's a different show for a different audience.

I mean there's no way it could possibly hold up to its competition. Boy Meets World was one of the best shows to ever be on Television. The Family Values, the Moral conflicts, the relationship between viewers and characters. It was perfect.

Girl Meets World is definitely different.

So far the only conclusion that I can come to is that Boy Meets World related with their audience while Girl Meets World tries more to entertain their audience.

Cory and Shawn were representatives of our time. Riley and Maya are entertainers of this era. Think about it. Unless every kid in school these days can play instruments, draw perfect art, sing extraordinarily well, and look hot doing it.

Not to mention Riley's character is just dumb as a brick. She's adorable, I'll give her that, but especially for someone with a teacher for a father she is absolutely clueless. At least Cory had the smart-alecky logic of a normal kid.

I watch the show because I owe it to Cory and Topanga to do so. They raised me and I cannot thank them enough for that. Riley is adorable and the message of the show isn't a bad one. It will just never measure up to that of Boy Meets World.

This is mainly just an up to date boy meets world that I'm probably way too old to be into...but the feelz are just to real.

I watched a few episodes of this show, and just couldn't fall in love with it. Maybe I'll give it another chance sometime down along the line because I liked Boy Meets World, but I'm not holding my breath.

Like every other BMW fan, I awaited this show with high hopes and for me, it seems to be a let down. I think it's all down the acting which isn't well delivered and storylines which are way too over the top to be realistic! Also, the focus on an immature pre-teen girls' drama just doesn't tickle my fancy - been there and done that, thanks!
