November Sweeps: More Monday & Tuesday Show Stars & Stunts! - Featured

November Sweeps are in swing which means a lot of our favorite shows are going for guest stars aplenty, ratings stunts, and more! Check out some special features for this Monday and Tuesday, 11/16 - 11/17. Monday Gossip Girl - ' The Last Days of Disco Stick ' - Lady GaGa guest stars for private concert organized by Blair as Blair continues to attempt to make her NYU classmates care about her social status. Apparently Lady GaGa's performance will include ladders and a "35-foot-long dress," so we'll see what sort of tricks this ultimate ratings stunt of a celebrity guest will bring! House - ' Teamwork ' - Not only is it finally time (spoiler alert!) for House to get his medical license back in this week's episode, but it's also time for him to chase down the old... new team... members, Thirteen and Taub, to try to convince them to return. And, on top of that, the episode will include guest stars Troy Garity of the Barbershop movies playing a porn star (we can only imagine the inappropriate comments ready to come out of House's mouth about this...), and Jolene Blalock of Star Trek: Enterprise as the porn star's wife. Accidentally on Purpose - ' The Third Man ' - Gilmore Girls ' David Sutcliffe (Christopher on Gilmore) returns as Brian, also featured in last week's episode, as a love interest for Billie, and of course, this makes Zack jealous! ( Sneak peek at Sutcliffe's guest appearance ) Two and a Half Men - ' Gorp. Fnark. Schmegle. ' - Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica guest stars as Chelsea's college roommate who comes to stay after a bad breakup. Tuesday 90210 - ' To Thine Own Self Be True ' - On 90210 this week, there will be a death in the zipcode! Could this just mean the confirmation of Silver's mom's death, or is someone else in trouble? Melrose Place (2009) - ' Cahuenga ' - Heather Locklear returns to Melrose Place as Amanda Woodward! (From the original MP for probably the majority of fans who didn't watch the original.) Apparently she wasn't such a sweetheart, and when she crashes Ella's agency since she's the owner and all, we'll see if the new or the original Queen B**** will rule the school... or agency... or apartment complex... ooo it's on! The Biggest Loser - ' Biggest Loser ' - If anyone is still watching Biggest Loser and getting positive life reenforcement and encouragement from TV, good for you. And enjoy guest appearances by Tim Gunn and Tabatha Coffey this week! Stay tuned this week and next for more updates about special November Sweeps features!

Tonight's TV Hot List: Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 - Featured

* Gossip Girl (9/8c The CW ) Lady Gaga appears in tonight's episode, and if things go Blair's way, she'll agree to a private concert for some NYU students. Blair's been trying to impress her classmates all season long, and this latest plan of hers just might do the trick. Meanwhile, Dan, Olivia and Vanessa get involved with a school play, but working in such close proximity with each other could prove problematic as they deal with the fallout from their threesome last week. * Two and a Half Men (9/8c CBS) So, Chelsea has lived with Charlie for how long? It would seem that believing in his ability to stay faithful at all would be proof of either great faith or blind love, but what is Chelsea thinking when she invites her beautiful college roommate, played by Battlestar Galactica actress Tricia Helfer, to stay at the house temporarily? It gets better: The new houseguest is there because she's getting over a bad breakup, the kind that leaves you vulnerable. Oh boy! * Dear Food Network (9/8c Food Network ) Turkey Day is less than two weeks away, so if you're still not sure what to do with that frozen bird, this hour may help you get it to the table. Food Network hosts are sharing their favorite recipes for cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes and other Thanksgiving staples. And they're answering viewer questions, too. Maybe yours will make it on air. * Castle (10:02/9:02c ABC) Castle and Beckett may have gotten past the rough patch in their working relationship, but it's Alexis who's making strides as Beckett's friend. While her dad tries to help an endangered call girl, Alexis confides in Beckett, leaving her very curious father to wonder about his daughter's secret. Since mysteries are Castle's forte, odds are he'll do his best to figure it all out. * Chef Academy (11/10c Bravo ) The network's newest cuisine-based reality show tracks French-born, London-based chef Jean-Christophe Novelli's experiences in Los Angeles as he tries to launch a culinary academy. With help from assistant Steve Kitchen (an apt surname there), Novelli selects nine aspiring chefs as test subjects for his institute. In the premiere, these disparate pupils take on their first test by preparing their signature dishes. There's a culinary caveat in this series, however: Failing three tests warrants a student's unceremonious dismissal from the program. Source Here

Sneak Peek of Lady GaGa's Performance on 'Gossip Girl'

The CW is not wasting their success in nabbing one of the hottest artists this year, Lady GaGa, as the guest star of " Gossip Girl ". After releasing a regular promo which was played at the end of this Monday's episode for "The Last Days of Disco Stick", the network drops the one which is focusing entirely on Lady GaGa and her "Bad Romance" performance. In the episode, GaGa is invited because Blair wants to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU with her private concert. The singer previously said that she refused to only sing in the middle of the scene and "screw everything up" with a sudden, meaningless performance. She thus joined the writers and producers to reveal what kind of performance she wants. "I really sat down with the writers," she said. "I was like, 'Look, I want to do this, and the reason I want to do this is because I am trying to say something that is not mainstream in a mainstream capacity. So, if I can say it on your show, that would be, like, a real coup d'etat for me as a performance artist.' " Lady GaGa will fall off ladders because the object is a monster symbol of bad luck. While doing that, she will be wearing 35 ft long red dress which is "very gothic-inspired". Source & Preview

'Gossip Girl' 3.10 "The Last Days of Disco Stick" Preview - Featured

The threesome of " Gossip Girl " this week is just the beginning. The November 16 episode will reveal more layers of the kinky activity done by Olivia, Dan and Vanessa. In the preview, Olivia says it out loud that she thinks Vanessa is deeply in love with her childhood friend, Dan. The three-way sex story arc has somewhat created a controversy since its first hint was given via EW. Parents TV Council (PTC) has warned The CW that it will pay close attention to the episode and will charge the network with necessary fine should it trespass any broadcasting rules. Despite the warning, the network went on with the episode, showing Dan, Vanessa and Olivia doing the last thing on their Ultimate College Experience list which they haven't done. There is still no comment yet from PTC. Beside putting the threesome as the attraction of the next episode, "Gossip" is also bringing in a performance by Lady GaGa. Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair calls in a favor to land a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year. She will sing "Bad Romance" with ladders and 35-foot-long dress involved. Watch the Preview Source & Preview

Gossip Girl: First Look at Lady Gaga on 'The Last Days of Disco Stick' - Featured

She might be on our list of tired pop culture Halloween costumes, but we'd be in denial if we said the real Lady Gaga was even close to being played out. If she were, would TV's hottest and hippest teenagers be hosting her on their show November 16? Don't think so! Here's the first look at Lady Gaga on Gossip Girl , courtesy of The CW and People mag, who reported from the set: What's a new NYU student to do when she's no longer queen bee? Work her connections to get Lady Gaga to play a private show, of course! That's what Blair (Leighton Meester) does in an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl set to air Nov. 16. PEOPLE was on set while the pop star filmed her performance -- set to her new single, "Bad Romance." "My little sister is the hugest Gossip Girl fan ever," Gaga (with Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester) tells PEOPLE. Word is that Gaga will live up to her out-there fashion reputation Gossip Girl as well, and will be performing on the show in a "30-foot long stage dress." Yowza. We can only hope the more traditionally stylish Blair Waldorf will have something to say about that! Tune in on November 16 for the Gaga-infused Gossip Girl episode, and every Monday (that's tonight!) at 9 PM on the CW. Source Here
