Far inferior to Broadchurch. I wish American networks weren't so afraid of broadcasting foreign originals instead of doing adaptations.

The US produces so many good shows that travel across the pond intact (thankfully), but there always seems to be a need to adapt good British shows for the sake of an American audience. It's disingenuous to 'Americanise' a show for "Americans to understand", when given the chance, an American audience would understand and enjoy the original show as is. Gracepoint typifies everything that is wrong with Americanising instead of importing a good show; it's a pointless bastardisation of something a lot better.
